Friendly, helpful staff and a central location
Pros:

It was central to the town. The door didn’t lock from the inside, which was important as we had a toddler with us that could open the door, so the hotel arranged for a chain to be added.

Cons:

The second bedroom in our apartment did not have a mirror or wardrobe/cupboards for clothes.

Disappointing bed/sheets and street facing room
Pros:

Decent location, good staff

Cons:

The room was on the ground floor directly onto a main street, very loud. The bed didn't have a real king mattress but it was two mattresses with a hole in the middle. The hotel is being cheap about sheets, using only flat sheets, not even a duvet cover. Not worth the money..

Location was very good.

Cons:

It was quite dated and the bathroom was old with a curtain which I did not like. Also, had a funny smell from cleaning products. This was very evident in corridor.

Central location walking distance to everything comfy beds, beautiful bathroom bathrooms even had a bath bathtub in our room which was great for a soak

Goede locatie en schone kamer en goed bed.
Pros:

Locatie is prima, winkels en treinstation op loop afstand. Ook de haven waar veel trips vertrekken is ook goed te belopen.

Cons:

Eerste nacht wakker geworden door luid telefonerende buurman. Na ingrijpen nacht portier weer 2 uur rust waarna de ellende weer begon. Weer nacht portier in moeten schakelen. De ander 2 nachten prima kunnen slapen. Hotel is wel gehorig.

Luxury at a great price
Pros:

Favourite place to stay when we stay in Dunedin

We used to stay at the distinction, but we found for a much better price. It's better to upgrade to one of the rooms in the new building. Same quality just a better price!!!!
