Pacific Regency Hotel Suites

For the five stars hotel, front service not too friendly to welcome residence. There's no hand soap and shower soap. Luckily i bring my own. There's have a spot of stain on blanket. But, the room is superb. Soo spacious and comfort. So far, can be improved on services.

I stayed in this property for four nights from 5th to 9th Oct 2024 with my family. First we checked in at 9 pm, and the receptionist was busy on her phone she looked at us after 3 mins and checked us in without even a smile. There was no bell boy we had to drag out luggage to our room.
Breakfast was not at all tasty, whatever options we had we are for 4 days. The restaurant staff was also rude, and didn't bother to refill the emply items. On the top they had conference running in the hothe and all the attendees were also taking breakfast in the same venue with guest, so it was crowded and even finishing all the items faster. I never seen this in my life in any hotel.
House keeping was even terrible, they left garbage on floor, used utensils in the sink and didn't even bother to refill the body wash in the shower. We also complaint about broken shower and shower door, but no one bothered. I even gave a written feedback/complaint but don't think anyone listened.
Pls go for a better place this is worst hotel overseas so far experienced.

In the first room the wifi wasn’t strong. Requested to change room and the service desk obliged my request.

Easy access

This place is easy to find, good location and beach side too. You can’t access the beach directly from the hotel and there is no direct stairs, but the access is just a stone throw away. Spacious room with basic amenities, good shower and pressure. Loved the shower gel and shampoo. Lovely pool too. Will surely come back for the convenience of location.

Just that the hotel needs to improve on room cleanliness. Otherwise all good!

Very old and smelly. Towels are demp and old. Bedding is fine and rooms are big though

HOW TO GET THERE
We arrived at Berjaya Times Square by bus from Singapore & it took 12 hours due to congested checkpoints & highways. There are plenty of bus services plying the route SG-KL. Main difference is the pickup & drop-off points in SG & in KL. Your preference depending on the place you stay.
You can also take a 55min flight from Changi Airport, then KLIA Express to KL Sentral, then connecting Rapid KL to Bukit Bintang/Times Square station.
You also have an alternative, FireFly SG to Subang airport; but that is another story.

Upon bus drop-off we took a 15mins walk to Jalan Puncak, Pacific Regency, from Times Square. Good walk to stretch our stiff legs from the bus journey. This hotel is beside KL Tower. Used to be known as Menara Pan Global, now it is called KH Tower.

CHECK-IN
Fast & fuss-free, as it was already 8pm. We also paid the tourist tax of RM5/pax per night. RM10 for 3 nights, total RM30. We were provided two room cards & wifi log in.

ROOM
We got an executive room which is great. Room was carpeted & spacious with a king bed. There is a kitchenette with working induction stove, fridge & kettle. Coffee, tea, creamer & sugar are provided too. There are three closets, a safe, TV, working desk & a couch.
Beds & linens are fresh, we had many good night’s sleeps.Bathroom has separate shower & egg-shape bathtub. Get those bath balls & gel for that evening dip & scrub, heh!

F&B
There is in-room dining & they also have kids’ menu.
Breakfast is served on level 23, Soi Restaurant.
Spread is good with a live egg station.

WALKING AROUND
Nothing much around the hotel but there is a 7-11 on the Ground floor.
Walk to KLCC about 20mins, to Sungei Wang 15mins & 20mins to Times Square.
Anywhere else, we took Grab & it was only good experiences during our journey.
It was safe, economical & fast.

AMENITIES
Gym is on level 23.
Swimming pool opens from 8am – 8pm.
The rooftop bar, Loop KL/Luna Bar is permanently closed.

FEEDBACK
I had too many bad instances when my room card fails. It failed at the lift scan point & if that passed, it will fail at the room door. You would have to get the lift all over again to the lobby, get the card right, walk to the lift & this game happened 11 (eleven) times during our stay.

I will not degrade any star for my review because of the card issue. But those who experience this problem, please inform the hotel this has happened many times.

All-in-all, it was a good stay over the Christmas period. Staff were friendly, diligent & helpful.

Rubbish hotel in KL town area. Check in process are slow & took 10 minutes and seems like short of manpower with poor customer service.

My 1st impression was not really welcoming with 1 guy with a huge arrogant style.. Yes i really appreciated with our suites was upgraded for free.. As an old-timer business property, SERVICE is the most important must be remain.. Luckily another FOA name Atira as a trainee did her great job to listen and solve my requirement.. Kudos to both Atira & whole entire hotel Team. Friendliness and greetings are their habbits👍👍.. One of the team member wish me for my birthday, it shows that they are noticed about my attandnce..

Overall, i will give a full recommendation to others to stay here.. location wise is good enough for those are coming for KL visit.. This hotel located right in front of KL TOWER entrance. Convenience to move around KL City.. This is my 3rd visit.. I love this place..

The Pacific Regency surpassed our expectations. Within a 10 minute walk to KLCC and Bukit there is also plenty of options for foodies and shoppers even closer. It's rare to be in the centre of such a vibrant modern city yet overlooking the skyline and the tree canopy from the Menara Tower across the steet. The breakfast buffet is such great value with lots of variety and the service throughout the hotel was inpeccable. We will be back. Thanks to everyone for our memorable stay.

The hotel staff were friendly & accommodating. However, the food they served for breakfast were horrible. They served the same food everyday. It seems like they were leftovers the day before. Hard boiled eggs were cold instead of freshly cooked. Bread were stale, butter were old.

with friends for 1 night,it was a great hotel near kl tower,You just can walk to klcc also, downtown area,there is bath up also,at that time im not get the room with the best view but overall the room was great! there is rooftop swimming pool view to twin tower

When i get this room, my hotel card can’t be attached to the plug to switch on the electricity in that room. It has to be done manually. toilet cant flush properly. You have to flush several time to make sure the toilet bowl clear. Toilet has no handheld bidet. Room has bad odor might be from the cabinet. Bed sheet have stain. The lock in this room is broken too.

one of the english tv stations not working. hard to access the pool if your got mobility problems.guy on reception not helpful. 3/5 stars didn't enjoy my stay.

The worst hotel experience ever

Celebrating the new year eve in the hotel, after one day shopping in KL
Came back our hotel, found out inside my brace case was left out only one lower part brace (I placed on the basin in the bathroom)
Just curious why my brace upper part was missing? who want stolen it?

The carpet leaves a smell but very minimal. Bathroom mirror was quite dirty. No basic utensils provided although there is cooking stove in room. The parking ticket is pricey as well (per entry). had to opt somewhere else. Nonetheless, room is so spacious with affordable price. And the view from our room overlooking the whole city. plus, the breakfast buffet is decent for rm30 price.

We stayed on level 17.
The room was very spacious and had a large bathroom with a nice bath.
The view from the window was of another building, so no view but therefore little road noise.
The noise did seem to travel from next door's room very easily though!
It's literally opposite the Observation towers and you can buy tickets at the concierge (although it's a little bit of a hike up the hill!).
It's also only a 10-15 minute walk to the Petronas Towers, so very well situated.
