The staff are brilliant especially at reception , nothing is to much trouble.
Nothing
The location is perfect very close to the retail park and anything you may need.
Staff were great facilities the gym etc was great.
The only let down for me was the breakfast. There wasn’t much choose.
We were in room 301. From arrival to departure, the dirty laundry from all the rooms on the floor was not taken away. Not good.
Staff lovely upon arrival very welcoming
Quiet
Pool area well managed
Clean and comfortable room

Prices of drinks and food are far too high.
This is our favourite Village hotel, the location is excellent and the staff are fabulous. This time we would like to thank Nicky and Sally for their welcome and help at check in, and Ruth at the pub and grill for her help with our evening meal. The newly refurbished rooms look really smart and we enjoyed using the leisure facilities too. The food was nice for our evening meal and breakfast. There are some interesting new additions on the pub menu. See you again soon!
Very disappointed!
Booked a room with two double beds - got a room with one double bed. We were unable to change rooms as they were fully booked, and rooms were being renovated.
Bath was moldy - complained numerous times - nothing was done.
Conditioner was empty, and had to repeatedly ask for more towels as only one was left for two people.
Water, coffee and tea were not always replenished.
Constant construction noise from 8am renovating below bedrooms. They removed hall carpet towards the club rooms resulting in us having to walk over sticky glue residue to get to our room as this was the only way we could get there.
Food was rubbish.
Room was comfortable, the swimming etc was very good. Breakfast was of a good quality.
The Bar area was very noisy when we came to have a meal. Perhaps a quiet area would help as the food was spoiled by the noise.
We used to stay here when it was a classy De Vere Hotel, it is now more like a poor travel lodge. Families with unruly, unsupervised children running wild.
We were unable to use the pool because of the families who were non-residents at the Hotel made worse by the school holidays.
There is no proper restaurant, just a basic bar area that serves very poor food from a very poor bar menu.
The rooms had no air-conditioning so were extremely hot with only a small 'desk top' fan. We had booked a four day stay, but our room only had 4 coat hangers and two very small drawers so we had to keep our clothes in our suitcases.
This hotel is focused more on the outside membership and walk-in customers than the paying guests.
I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quality relaxing break.
We used the pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Really nice way to relax in the morning before heading out
Rooms too hot in warmer weather - No Aircon available. provide a tiny fan which did not add any benefit.
When the room was booked, we booked a Family room - 1 x double and 2 x single beds. However the Hotel has had a makeover and they no longer do these room types (without notifying us), they only supply 2 x double in the rooms. They failed to tell us this until I queried this after checking in despite me sending a message prior to arrival to ensure we had the correct bed arrangement. The response I got was 'I can pass your message on' which really isn't acceptable when you have a teenage boy and girl both sharing the same bed. Further to this there were only 2 x towels and 2 x cups for hot drinks in the room for 4 to share 🤦♂️
easy check in and lift was excellent with my mobility buggy, check in staff were able to assist when we had an issue with a door card - twice!
Breakfast orange juice was AWFUL!
Appeared that too much water had been added to the concentrate.
