Staff very friendly Ruth on the bar mature and very helpful.
Sports facilities, good although I only used the Pool, Whirlpool, Steam Room and Sauna. The whole stay, very relaxing which is what I needed.

The staff where wonderful and made us feel verry happy on are aniversary

Great location, very clean and comfortable, friendly helpful staff.
Room was spacious and well stocked, very big tv.
Used the leisure facilities, which were excellent. Did not dine in the hotel but looked like there was a good choice.

Love the location and staff cant do enough for you. Gym facilities and pool is amazing 🙂

Great location and facilities, friendly staff , perfect for a short business trip stay

Everything about this hotel was great. Only stayed for 1 night. Got there early and was allowed into the room, weekend so no parking charges. Excellent staff and service on reception, bar and for breakfast. Great breakfast choices.
Room was clean, bed was amazing and comfy.

Stayed overnight on Friday 20 February to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Check in very smooth, the young lady on check in was very helpful and engaging.
On arrival to our room we were greeted with a note wishing us Happy Anniversary and some chocolate from Sallie, Jess & Mary - a lovely touch so thank you girls 👍
Room was perfect overlooking the front of the hotel, bed was oh so comfortable !
We were staying on one of the special rates, so voucher for dinner & drinks and breakfast were included, as well as entrance to the gym & pool.
When we went down for dinner @ 18.45, the bar area was very busy, but soon levelled off and we had a lovely meal from the grill menu.
Breakfast was another very enjoyable experience, could not fault anything, to be honest this was one of the best breakfasts we have had anywhere 👍 Special mention to the girls who looked after us, thank you !
We will return in the not too distant future.

I have been a member at the village hotels for over a year now and in that time is been nothing but unpleasant an upset not long after i joined the 1st problem was the lift always being oht of order an as a wheelchair user if the lift if out i can’t access the spar area witch is all a pay for

The 2nd problem being the changing room both the male and family changing room are always filthy and stink off piss same goes for the Surna witch as you can imaging isnt the best smell to be sitting in the surna with i went there one day and had to go n buy new shorts because some
One had left chewing gum on the bench witch i sat in and then got it stuck to my shorts as u can see in the photo added

There is always something broken or not working in the spar witch again is all i use an tonight i went to get dressed only to find that my airmax 95s and socks had been STOLEN out of the changing rooms and a still had to get home

When i approached one of the staff to explain my shoes an socks had been took his reply was a can do nothing about it followed by a shrug of his shoulders it was only when one of the female staff approached me witch then she helped resolve this issues lucky enough there was a pair of other shoes that wernt my size that she found so i had to out them on and trust me i will be returning them tomorrow

After being a paying member here for over a year the price has increased by over £10 an its clear to see that some off the staff that work there couldn't care less about there members an would do anything for an easy shift because nothing gets done and am half sorry i joined if i realised it was this bad a wouldn't of bothered

So if your are thinking of becoming a member here please think long and hard hard because there probably will be some
Where cheaper an cleaner because its in need of a deep clean

Blond lady behind the bar refused to serve me at one side of the bar and made me walk around to the other side of the bar while serving everyone else at the same side absolute power hungry little horror little short chunky one

My husband and I got married here in November 2025 and we had the most amazing day. From the moment we viewed the venue, we knew we wanted to get married here, we just loved the vibe. We were assigned a Wedding Planner, Denise, who was so helpful, she tailored the day to our needs. On the day of the Wedding, our Events Co-ordinator, Chantelle and her team, took care of absolutely everything and liaised with our vendors, I didn’t feel any stress at all. I would definitely recommend getting married here :-)
