Very clean, good breakfast, great British barman.
1970s decor, poor, overpriced food. Falsely labelling cheap fish as monkfish. Beds not made well. Bar shuts at 9pm. It may have been 4 star in 1980 but lower 3 star now. Dingy bedroom with basic bathroom. Aircon was a fan.
Staff very nice and location close to lake
Pretty outdated facility - room temperature not adjustable and got pretty hot and we were asked to use a fan
The parking for guests was great. The fact that the breakfast room opened at 6 am meant that we could have breakfast before going on our tour for the day.
The room wasn't clean. Both the bathroom and the living room needed cleaning, which was done when we went to reception and told them. But when we moved the lounge chairs, we discovered other items under them, which required another trip to reception and further cleaning.
Location
None
Proximity to everywhere and everything, all on your doorstep. Staff were amazing and so helpful, loved our stay. Highly recommended 👌

Location and breakfast
Due to two beds in the room, I needed to walk sideways to access the bathroom.
湖やスーパーへのアクセスが良かった。
設備が古い。
This was perfect for a one night stay. Good facilities and an excellent breakfast.
Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Quiet. Central. Modern.
Great location, close to shops and restaurants, very big room, very good breakfast.
Hair trapped in the bathroom shower drain has not been cleaned.
Good quality accommodation
Nothing
Nicely appointed rooms. Reception area and corridors a bit dated.
As above.
No toilet brush - an absolut no go. Breakfast menu was not very good. Especially coffee option (only filtered coffe, medium quality at best) was not acceptable in 2026.
Went with Road Scholar group. A lovely property with easy access to cute little shops for souvenirs and necessities. Clean and comfortable with a professional and pleasant team.
L'organisation de l'hotel, la gentillesse de l'accueil, la taille de la chambre
Les clients chinois, vulgaires et trop nombreux
We stayed here one night on the way to Milford Sound. The location was great, room was very clean.
My low rating is only related to breakfast time and how the personal at the restaurant handled the situation.
Firstly, the lady at the restaurant was not able to find our room in her files. It looked like she has rooms from different tour groups, but not from single people like us.
Once she finally found out, she informed us that the restaurant is full (it was 7:45) and we shall go to the restaurant on the first floor and get breakfast there, and just pointed towards the stairs. I told her that we only have 15 minutes for breakfast. Does the restaurant downstairs have any food. She said “yes, they do”. When we came down, the place on the first floor was literally dead, there was no buffet at all and employees in the kitchen were surprised that we were sent to them. They told us that it will take them linger than 10 minutes to prepare breakfast. At the end, we left the restaurant and stayed without breakfast because at 8 am we had to leave the hotel.
Still don’t understand how one can ignore the customer message about their limited time for breakfast and just send downstairs where there was no food at all.
