Great location
Everything was good
The disappointment was the cleanliness with regards to the cleaning to the room. Although the sheets were not changed when room was made up the shower and face basin were not cleaned. We did however have our towels replaced. There was no body wash provided in the shower guest then to travel without this as it is usually part of the amenities provided by the hotel. The hand wash container by the face basin was empty. This displayed lack of consistency with the cleaning staff and as guest we found this a disappointment in regards to our comfort. We were then skeptical as to whether the mugs and glasses has been washed thereafter.
The beds did not have headboards so the bed kept moving and was not stationery.
Breakfast was very basic - no option for eggs only scramble eggs on the buffet counter.
Sausages were overdone and seemed to be reheated from the previous day's breakfast!
Toast only wholemeal bread was provided - no selection of white or rye bread.
Nothing really - but wont be a choice for our next visit

The property itself was satisfactory and generally met expectations. Given the price we paid, we were not expecting a five-star hotel experience, and we felt the accommodation offered reasonable value for money.
However, our experience with the reception manager was disappointing. There was a misunderstanding during our stay, and I openly acknowledge that we were at fault. We apologised multiple times—at least twenty times—in a calm, respectful, and sincere manner. While mistakes can happen on both sides, I believe that once a person accepts responsibility and apologises, the situation should be resolved professionally and respectfully.
Unfortunately, the manager's attitude remained confrontational and, in my view, came across as rude and discriminatory. Rather than helping to move past the issue, she appeared determined to belittle us, which made the interaction unnecessarily unpleasant. She did not appear to be in the standard staff uniform, leading me to believe she may have been the owner or held a senior position.
In the hospitality industry, guests should be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of whether they are right or wrong. Professionalism is demonstrated not when things go smoothly, but when staff handle difficult situations with empathy, dignity, and respect. Sadly, that was not our experience on this occasion.
