A family of 3 generations travelling together; 4 adults and two young children. We were given two apartments on the same floor and across the corridor from each other. Check in was smooth, and the person very friendly. Water or free tea and coffee was available. The children especially liked the seating area and the bowl of sweets provided. A lift is also in the building and this was essential for us as we had many hold suitcases and carry on air bags as from Australia and touring Europe and UK for 5 weeks. The whole property exceeded our expectations from the very minute we walked in. Beautifully decorated and large, however, cosy feeling in the main entrance which is very eclectic and certainly adds to the feel of the place. Our rooms were large and we had a studio apartment and one where there was a kitchenette, 2 single beds and a double/queen bed behind a screened wall. Everything was spotlessly clean including the corridors. The rooms are silent and there are external shutters that operate with the press of a button to keep the apartments dark for sleeping. Restaurants and cafes are within walking distance and one which is across the road and 50 metre walk is open for breakfast at 6am. The Residenza della Citta is very secure and in a safe area not far from the Central Station of Milan and within walking distance. We had a FABULOUS stay for just one night as we were flying out to Singapore the next day in the early afternoon. In the evening we walked to an Italian pizza and pasta restaurant with the 2 young children and all felt very safe in doing so. All of us including the children wished we had stayed for longer and we hope to return again in the future. Location, clean, staff, everything. A home like feeling

Courteous staff at the front desk, extremely clean room and bathroom, and espresso machine in the lobby (as well as instant coffee in the room). The room was very spacious and had an extremely comfortable chair for reading/working (though no desk), as well as chair and a bar for eating. Small kitchen area would be convenient for a longer stay.

A localização era muito boa, com estacionamento, ideal para estar com a família. O cuidado e atenção com uma simples gentileza de ter na recepção uma excelente maquina de café, chás, croissant, faz do serviço caloroso e acolhedor.

The service before and during our stay was excellent. The staff were extremely hospitable and helpful whenever we had queries about either the property or about exploring Milan. The room was a great size, as was the bed which was very comfortable. The location of the property is excellent, a short walk from Milan Centrale and also Loreto Metro station is also very close by and you can get from there to Duomo in ten minutes. We flew in to Bergamo airport and got the shuttle to Centrale, and flew out from Linate airport which costs about €20 to get to by taxi from Centrale. So the location is fantastic for getting to and from airports and for getting into the touristy parts of Milan. Around Loreto station there are also lots of shops and restaurants and cafes.
