A good alternative stopover to hotels in Dubrovnik
Pros:

Reception and portering very good, as could be expected. We didn't use the valet parking service. Extensive choice of restaurants for evening dining, we prefered the two offering a view out to the sea. Very good quality breakfast and very comfortable room.

Cons:

It is a very large hotel, so breakfast, although excellent quality, was very busy.

It’s absolutely stunning!!! Beautiful views!

Cons:

Beds were so uncomfortable. The apartments stunk. I think it’s the plumbing in the kitchen but they spray perfume to mask it and when it evaporates you smell mildew.

ארוחת בוקר טובה ומגוונת מאוד. המלון נקי ונעים, הצוות נחמד וחיובי, הנוף משגע, החדרים טובים מאוד ומרווחים, המיטות והכריות מאוד נוחות לשינה. זהו איזורט מדהים ביופיו, עם אנשים טובים שמתפעלים אותו. מסעדות המלון ממש טובות במיוחד הבוצ'ר, מסעדה ברמה עולמית. חזרנו מספר פעמים במהלך החופשה!

Excellent hotel, beautiful apartment with wonderful views.
Pros:

Wonderful location with magnificent views. Spacious grounds, excellent pools, variety of restaurants and wonderful staff.

Cons:

I would have like the pools bars to stay open a little later rather than close at 6pm

A relaxing stress free week, just what we needed.
Pros:

Excellent staff (all of them, be it porters, cleaners, receptionists, concierge, bar etc etc). Very knowledgeable concierges.
Very clean every where.
Beautiful location.
Choice of pools and beach and choice of restaurants.

Cons:

Restaurants and bars were expensive.

Pros:

I've been coming to Sun Gardens Dubrovnik for many years now, and it has become a must-stop whenever I'm in town. Simply put, it's one of the best resorts not only in Dubrovnik but in Croatia. What makes it special is the combination of outstanding facilities and truly exceptional service. The staff are highly professional, attentive, and always make you feel genuinely cared for throughout your stay.

The breakfast is fantastic, the beach is beautiful, the restaurants offer great variety and quality, parking is convenient, and the entire property is impeccably maintained. Whether you're visiting for a relaxing holiday or a longer stay, everything you could possibly need is here.

After all these years, it remains my favorite place to stay in Dubrovnik, and I look forward to coming back every time.

Tolle Lage, wunderschöner Meerblick und freundliches Personal
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sauber, gepflegt und liegt in einer wunderschönen Umgebung mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts war das Personal stets freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen haben uns der private Strand sowie die sehr guten Wellnesseinrichtungen mit Innen- und Außenpools, mehreren Saunen und einem Whirlpool. Auch das Frühstück war gut und bot eine ausreichende Auswahl.

Insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen und erholsamen Aufenthalt ohne größere Beanstandungen. Die Zimmer, Gemeinschaftsbereiche und Einrichtungen waren durchweg in gutem Zustand, und die entspannte Atmosphäre machte den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm.

Cons:

Der einzige wirkliche Kritikpunkt ist das Preisniveau. Das betrifft allerdings nicht nur das Hotel selbst, sondern Dubrovnik insgesamt. Im Vergleich zu anderen beliebten Mittelmeer-Destinationen erscheinen die Kosten recht hoch für das, was geboten wird. So lagen beispielsweise die Preise in den Restaurants des Hotels und in der Stadt spürbar über denen vieler anderer Küstendestinationen und erschienen im Verhältnis zum Angebot recht hoch.

In anderen europäischen Küstenregionen findet man häufig Fünf-Sterne-Hotels in direkter Strandlage mit vergleichbarer Ausstattung und teilweise sogar einem besseren Frühstücksangebot zu deutlich günstigeren Preisen. Daher bietet das Hotel zwar einen komfortablen Aufenthalt und viele positive Aspekte, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis konnte uns jedoch nicht vollständig überzeugen.

Beautiful location, very comfortable, beaches and waters excellent very scenic, strongly recommend
