Convenient for NEC but beware- meat served is halal only!
Pros:

Well placed for the NEC.
Friendly staff.
Good sized bedroom.
Good facilities

Cons:

Meat in restaurant halal but not labelled as such. We do NOT eat halal. We had to ask.
Alternatives for non - muslims should be offered and not just vegetarian options.

El restaurante o cafetería no tenían mucho que ofrecer pero puede ser porque están de reforma

Plush hotel room close to Birmingham International train station.
Pros:

Big room, comfy bed, fancy shower, there's a desk and a couple of chairs in the room too.

Cons:

Took me a while to find the off button for the aircon. Otherwise, no issues.

Standard room but great location. Parking easy
Pros:

So close to nec where my event was and so easy to park

Staff were lovely even when i complained over the room, was accommodating, even offered to move my stuff for me.

Bar staff didnt judge me for buying a bottle of wine with 1 glass haha

Cons:

They are in the middle of a refurbishment, I was aware of that beforehand so didnt bother me too much, I had booked a family room so I had a double bed, no others were available, when I got to room it was 2 singles pushed together not even clipped on, and then the TV wasnt connected to WiFi so I couldnt stream from my phone (like it said on the screen) when I asked on reception she said the newer refurbished rooms hadnt been set up yet and they would all be done in 1 go when finished, they did swap my room for me, but I could tell it was an older style room, one of the windows wasnt sealed and was letting in noise from the motorway, some of the tiles in bathroom were loose. But the TV worked in this room so I was happier

Im sure my issues would be fixed by time refurb is done tho
