Comfortable stay
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for one night before flying from nearby Manchester Airport. The hotel from the outside looked slightly dated however plenty of parking was available. We were checked in by a member of staff who was friendly and informative. The room we were allocated was decorated with a Happy Birthday banner, balloon and a beer/small bottle of wine - very much appreciated and I was very surprised!

The room itself was spacious enough albeit again slightly dated and could have really done with being freshly decorated. The bathroom was VERY small, definitely the narrowest I have experienced in any Village Hotel I have previously stayed in.

The leisure facilities including a large pool, steam room and sauna as well as a heated hydro pool were all excellent.

The bar/grill was really good and we managed to book one of the dart boards which was a really good way to spend an hour. The burgers were really good!

Breakfast the following morning was good, well laid out, and enjoyable.

Overall a really good stay. Would have been 5 star review if the room hadn’t been so obviously dated with such a small/narrow toilet and shower room.

Pros:

Location was perfect for the function I was attending. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Staffwere lovely.
I didn't use any of the spa or pool facilities but they looked good
