Really enjoyable, would recommend & would stay again.
Pros:

Had everything you would need for a short stay. Very helpful receptionist provided us with early check in as we’d travelled so far, this was very much appreciated.

Cons:

Very poor lighting at entrance to car park at night, also bad potholes on road. Car park very busy at peak gym times.

Avoid unless you like dance music at 6am
Pros:

Everything was fine until we have been woken up at 6.30am by some horrendous dance music which I can only assume is coming from the gym.

Cons:

Staying here for somewhere to rest half way through a long journey and have been woken up at 6.30am by some extremely loud dance music (we’re on floor 2 and it sound awful). Less than ideal. Messaged the hotel to see what it’s all about and had no response. Wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you want an early morning 2 step.

Pros:

The moment we walked through the door we were greeted with smiley happy staff who were welcoming and helpful and made us feel sooo relaxed. We had been driving over 4hrs so were pretty shattered. They asked us what the occasion was for staying and we told them to do the Emmerdale tour. At dinner they remembered and when we checked out they remembered, its just those added little personal touches which made the whole stay lovely. In the spa the staff were helpful and smiling as well. Lovely hotel, clean and smart. Already recommended it to friends and family

Hammer Drills at 9AM not acceptable.
Pros:

On arrival the host on reception was excellent! Also I had food in the bar where the lady working was excellent and the food far exceeded my expectations.

Cons:

I booked a club room so on the top floor the lift was not working and no pre warning given but the receptionist dealt with the situation fantastically. I had online meetings in the morning that as it contains confidential information had to be done in my room only this was impossible due the someone using a hammer drill and hammering on the wall in the next room at 9AM!!! The receptionist was dismissive when I raised this and said simply "erm that is on the floor below you not the same floor!" It was load enough to be in the same room and made me have to leave so I could work somewhere else.
