Parking far away from entrance and limited due to tiki bar crowds using common parking.
Balcony with room we had was very small and not worth added cost, also did not drain rain water so there was standing water.
Our family and friends stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Harborside in Punta Gorda the weekend of Dec. 12, 2025 for my daughter's wedding, Dec. 13.
During our stay, the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful in getting us settled and getting the gift bags to the guests of the wedding. They were all friendly and accommodating.
Montana, who I think is a manager, coordinated a brunch on Sunday for our friends and family, with very little notice. Anthony, the bar tender for the brunch, made everything fun. Erin, the server, who doesn't usually work on Sundays, was very nice and welcomed us with smiles. Even though I don't know everyone's name on the staff, I want people to know that they were all wonderful, including housekeeping and the Tiki bar. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Punta Gorda.

Dining service seemed to be slow. Easier to get our own coffee and creamer. Cook was amazing! Food was great!
This is a fabulous Sheraton - Marriott. We loved our nautical themed King room with balcony & harbor/ marina view. While lots of bridge traffic passes by, it was very quiet in our room. We loved the Tiki bar for drinks & their restaurant Spinnaker was excellent! The lump crab cakes were divine! The 3 layer chocolate fudge cake - omg - incredible.
Also of note: assistant front desk manager and m.o.d. Montana was amazing. She was helping out in the restaurant Spinakker as it was packed & extremely busy. She helped with seating & anything else needing to be done. At one point a group of loud locals became rude & nasty with their server. Montana calmly, respectfully & assertively stepped in & handled it - them. Wow, she was truly grace under pressure, awesome to observe - well done!Montana clearly has a bright future in any kind of management. Every hotel should have someone like this.
We loved our stay here & wish it could’ve been longer. We definitely recommend & hope to return soon!
