Garner Hotel Gillette South by IHG

I was only there for the night, but I did use the exercise facility however the universal equipment had broken cables. My overall stay was very good.

Loved the pool/waterpark. It’s free for hotel guests. 24hr coffee machine. Has a small gift shop with some food and souvenirs. Only small issue is my room had almonds on the floor lol. I don’t eat almonds

Clean and quiet stay

Everything was good with only one small complaint. I'm used to having a small coffee maker in my room so you can make coffee first thing of the morning instead of having to go to the lobby or breakfast area for it. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay!!

Comfy beds, clean, friendly staff, breakfast included, 24-7 GOOD coffee and water slides. Will definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable. Only negative is the lack of nearby parking. Parking is shared with another motel and I had to find parking far away from both motels. Otherwise, the stay was great.

The hotel was located in a good location. I didn't venture too far to find a place for dinner. I enjoyed the hot tub and hot breakfast.

Clean nice

Perfect 1 bdrm suite for a family of 4!! The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly! Biggest highlight for our whole family was the big waterslides, lazy river, and hot tub!! Highly recommend staying here!

Quick overnight trip to Gillette, wanted a fun hotel that had some amenities. Upon check in the front desk staff was very inviting. Other reviews mentioned an extra charge for use of the water park however ours was included so not sure if that has recently changed. Was assigned a room and upon inspection I found hair on the bed and in the bathtub. I try to be understanding however I think this is something that can easily be cleaned. I returned to the front desk and she was accommodating and provided a new room that was very clean! We where exited to use the water park, it has a lazy river, but with no inter tubes it kinda takes the fun out of it. Our tv was not working at one point and the maintenance staff was very prompt at fixing. The breakfast was ok. The fresh bean coffee was fabulous! All in all it was an ok stay. I’d recommend.

The hotel poorly manages community spaces. The pool is straight up dangerous. No one monitors for capacity and large groups of kids engage in dangerous behaviors. They would use innertubes down the slides with 4or5 going down at a time. They didnt pace their slides and would plow over little kids. The pool attendance were unable to regulate the behaviors and gave permissions to dive into shallow pools. They were not lifeguards. Additionally, too many dogs that had no purpose to be there that barked all night and day and disturbed multiple guests stay. I have stayed there a few times but wint again.
