It was very close to the conference centre a short walk away. Not too far from the station and plenty of great restaurants nearby especially on Preston Street.
Parking is really difficult and/or expensive but to be fair this is a problem in Central Brighton. You can park after 8 but you need to leave before 9. There is an underground carpark but it's expensive.
I was looking for a budget hotel I wasn't too bothered about what I was getting. I was however surprised at the quality I got for the price I paid. I would 100% come back.
It could have been a bit closer to the train station, it's maybe a 10-15 minute walk which is not ideal but it is close to shops, restaurants and the seafront.
Rooms were delightfully clean and tidy. I adored the artwork in the corridors. The staff were incredibly helpful and gave us some great tips with regards to restaurants.
It's definitely not a dealbreaker but breakfast is in a restaurant on the opposite side of the square instead of onsite, you have to buy a voucher for it.
Cleanliness and staff very helpful.
We had a issue with noise from workmen below until late on the Friday and then the next morning, the staff dealt with it for us.
Fabulous stay, will be back again. Lovely room, comfortable, quiet and clean, great facilitys too and plenty of space
It was cold
great location and accommodated leaving bags with reception as I was there for the Brighton half marathon. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location for the race was excellent.

Nothing
Clean, convenient, very good value.
There was no one on the desk on arrival on Wednesday evening. Other guests had been waiting for an hour. I waited 10 mins but was anxious that no one would turn up.
Friendly staff clean pleasant place the staff went above and beyond to make sure my family was well looked after while staying here
Shared bathroom but that’s not a problem
Very neat and quiet
The stuff was really lovely and helpful, the room was very pleasant and clean.
Great location - almost directly across from the i360 - close to the centre but quiet and easy to locate. The decor in the halls continued all the way through (so it's fun to interpret some of the images) which gives it a feel of being cared for, even if a little worn in places.
Staff were courteous and requests met quickly. Our room on the top floor (quite the work out!) was small but had everything we needed and the beds were comfy - and a sea view!
Some reviews can be overly picky in relation to the cost of the room, but apart from a tricky window (par for the course when that close to the sea, which is wet), I can't fault it!
