Rodeway Inn Shippensburg I-81

Trying - it’s clearly an old property that looks to be under new ownership. Looks as if they are working on refurbishing but needs a lot of work!

We needed a hotel to stay for one night near Shippensburg University this accommodation worked out perfect

The hotel was clean but run down. The beds where neat and clean but they where old and swayed in the middle. Everything just looked very beat down and used.

First room the card would not open the door, so they said to come in to the desk, and they would open the door when we needed in. I was staying three days, im not doing this. Second room had no heat or AC. NOT GOOD

Property was well kept up and clean, but the towels and some sheets had stains in them which was gross,one towel looked like lip stick. The couch as well had some stains on them as. Would I use this Hotel again? Very likely close to the Interstate as well as gas station

A good place to stay at a good price no swimming pool an you can have pets

Nice motel. Convienent to I81, but also a bit noisey in front rooms because of highway. Rear rooms MUCH quieter.

This place is great if you need just a night or two in town, while not the prettiest of places I’ve never had an issue with bugs or anything like that. And it’s the cheapest place around. You get what you pay for. I find the staff friendly and have never had any types of problems with them.

The price was the lowest around the area. The place is located right off rt. 81. Very convenient.

The service was awesome. Management was very courteous, room was wonderfully pleasant and the location was convenient and safe. I will stay there again and even recommend it to others.

Nice hotel, near downtown Shippensburg. The staff are friendly. Had a problem with the room key, the lady at the front desk fixed that without any hassel.

Very disappointed room wasn’t great. Bathroom had graffiti on the door and walls. The free breakfast consisted of toast, bagels and muffins.

When I checked in I asked that no maid service
They would smile at you and say O.K.
In the room the bed covers were stained and felt gressey.
There was no smoke detector in the room.
I found mine in a drawer with no battery.
When I took a shower it felt as if there was no support under the tub and there was black mold on the shower curtain.
The toilet was sooo small.
Every day I asked for no maid service and every day they came into my room
The last day they my dirty towels and never replaced them.
The directions they gave me to this music event was so far out of my way.

We were only there for one night, just to sleep. The person at the front desk was very nice and friendly, but they need a new cleaning person. The walls and carpet were filthy. There were very few outlets and only half of those works. No tissues in the tissue holder. We requested non-smoking, but could smell smoke in the room. But we were in and out. Just won't stay there again.
