Stayed for one night in standard room. Have previously stayed in this hotel twice, but in their deluxe/superior room which was in a much better condition. Good choice of breakfast. Started clearing up breakfast 10.15 when breakfast is supposed to close at 10.30. Room good condition, comfortable bed, bathroom dated and bath had marks in it, so didn't use it. Staff helpful and friendly. Paid car park £6 for 24 hrs. About 10 mins walk to the station. Close proximity by car to Swindon Designer Outlet. Town centre/dining/cinema about 7 mins walk. The area felt unsafe late evening if walking.

Great hotel, we were given an extra hour for free to check out which was lovely as my husband had to work. Helpful staff, great location!!

Bathroom was outdated water ran away slowly in the bath and shower curtain was way too long for the bath actual room was very nice and clean

The hotel should be a very good choice if you have a car. The hotel seems well maintained and thus in very good condition.

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from Swindon Railway Station. It's a large building standing at a road junction. I've stayed in larger rooms at Leonardos Hotels elsewhere but it was the same good quality with satisfactory fixtures. The bed was firm and I would have liked some softer pillows. The room was very quiet with little noise outside the hotel or within the building. The buffet breakfast was varied with an array of tasty items including well cooked sausages and also poached eggs cooked to order. The staff I met were pleasant and helpful and I would stay at this hotel again.

Property is well located off the motorway. Does need upgrading.
Breakfast slightly slow as only one staff member available to clear tables. Car parking space next to hotel not sufficient.

Check in was good, 1812 bar staff and breakfast staff were good. Manager was not helpful when I had to complain for the second day about plumbing issues (and then electrical ones as well)
The noise has definitely increased from previous stays. I think the club side of business is now seems more important than the hotel side. I had dirty water coming back up the drains, dangerous electrical issues

Room

Hotel was okay, parking seems slightly dodgy 3rd party company and receptionist stated that just entering reg prevents a fine and asked me if I wanted to pay the £6 stated parking fee.

In my view they should take the payment when you check in and register your reg, suspected they don’t because the parking company make a profit?

The lady who didn’t/couldn't check us in ( 40m early ) was completely disinterested, could say rude.

Excellent hotel in a convenient location. Close to bus station, shopping, dining.

The hotel is clean, which is really lovely to see as it is very rare to have a clean hotel nowadays. The only downside was the air conditioning was not working as it was set to automatic mode where I couldn't control it. I had to wait a while to see if this could be fixed, but eventually I was moved to another room where it worked fine, so no issues. The only thing I would say is that it kept turning itself off every couple of hours so I had to keep getting up to turn it back on again. It would be much better if the air con is fully controllable in each room, especially for people like myself who suffer with asthma. However, the staff were really friendly and helped as much as possible.
