A quiet and welcoming retreat from the hustle and bustle, yet so close to places of interest. Truly exceptional!
Pros:

Very quiet, yet so close to places to eat and things to do. The walking trail behind the property takes you right along the Charles River. No extra fee for well- behaved dogs, which is great. Facility is in fine shape and the staff very helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Spacious room - more like a studio apartment, helpful staff, walking distance to old fashioned diner
Pros:

There wasn't any breakfast on site - but the diner that the Crescent Suites Hotel check-in staff suggested called Heidi's Restaurant was a true slice of the community, and felt like an authentic local spot, so warm, welcoming and the food was outstanding. Really, I cannot say enough good things - we ate there twice! The room was spacious, and it was walking distance to Heidi's Restaurant (maybe 4 blocks).

Cons:

Well the neighborhood wasn't 100 percent great. I'm a runner - and no distance discourages me - but my husband is not a big walker-runner so he was discouraged by how far we would have to walk to get to restaurants. We didn't have a car. If you rent a car - it is not an issue. Also, we were visiting our daughter at Wellesley College - and it wasn't far on a map, but with the traffic, it wound up taking us 25-30 minutes.

location is ideal for Waltham and Newton, or for getting on the highways to Boston/Albany (90) or Points North or South (95/128). The Charles river is just behind, so nice to walk outside. Very large room with large bathroom, living room and kitchen. Quiet Neighbrhood. Nice for a long stay. Restaurants (Moody street) 15 minutes away by foot or 5 minutes by car. Prices are not cheap, but such are things in Newton, Waltham, etc., as long as you don't go further North or South on 128. Staff is very helpful.

The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean.

Cons:

Crescent Suites is NOT a hotel. It's more like a glorified apartment house. WAY overpriced for what it is. The entryway/not lobby is gloomy. The place reeks of cleaning fluid. The room was depressing. One of the window shades was broken. The bed did not look comfortable. We were so bummed at the prospect of spending time in this depressing place, we just got back in the car and kept driving. I do not want to put any employees out of work by leaving a bad review, but this place is not as described, and, once again, WAY overpriced. Makes me wonder whether the reviews on Booking.com are fake.

Clean, convenient and free parking
Pros:

No breakfast. The place was clean and in a safe area of the city. Right next to the Charles River. It had a full kitchen and Free Parking too, which is a big plus. I will be staying there again.
