Not wonderful, not terrible
Pros:

The pool area with 2 hot tubs was great. Staff and maintenance were quick to respond to our needs. Proximity to the Disneyland Parks.

Cons:

Parking is a joke. We spent $25 per night and the last night there wasn't even spots for everyone. People were parking in fire lanes, we were blocked in when we tried to leave. Air conditioner sounded like metal discs scraping together, luckily that was only the first night, maintenance fixed it the next day. Pillows were super lumpy, like they've been washed over and over.

I had booked the microtel across the street but discovered it was closed for renovations when I tried to enter the lobby. The outer lobby door was open but the inner lobby door was locked and had a sign directing guests to the hotel across the street. While driving across the street a trans prostitute walked across the sidewalk shocking my wife and I. When we drove into the holiday inn parking lot we observed several unsavory crackhead looking characters loitering about. I told my wife to stay locked in the car and I went into the lobby to cancel my reservation. The staff member told me I could not cancel, despite having made the microtel reservation only a couple hours prior. I told the staff I wasn't staying and would seek safe lodging elsewhere and request a refund, which I did. So far my request for a refund has been unsuccessful.

Cons:

A youth baseball tournament was in town and kids were running up and down the halls passed midnight. Call to the front desk did not resolve.
Breakfast was mediocre.

Pros:

Room exceeded expectations. Breakfast was POOR! No butter, biscuits but NO gravy at all, pancake cooker was out of order, total lack of staffing to even ask about missing items. What a disappointment!

Good stay if hot breakfast or pool were available.
Pros:

Comfy bed, spacious room. Clean. Accommodated our request for two rooms next to each other. Staff was friendly.

We were in-between this hotel and another hotel based on reviews about breakfast and amenities. We were hoping to be able to swim in the indoor pool with our kids since we were only going to be in-town for 2 nights for a wedding. We were also hoping for a nice hot breakfast per reviews about breakfast. Both nights we were there, the pool was not available for use. Pancake machine was out of order the first morning. 2nd morning, there was no hot food, only cold breakfast/to go food. I was disappointed that I paid as much as I did for amenities I expected to be there but weren't there. I could have stayed at a different hotel but I went by the brand.... and I regret it.
