SpringHill Suites by Marriott Quakertown

We travel often and use many different hotels to stay. Marriott has always been one of the best; until now.... We understand that construction is needed and inevitable and that wasn't really an issue. This was however the noisiest hotel we've ever stayed in. Above us sounded like a circus going ALL night long, the sound of water swooshing through the pipes in the walls and the neverending noise outside was unbearable. We were in the recently refurbished part and I can say it could not have been done any less expensive. Absolutely zero sound deadner, the sheetrock has cracks, whomever did the tile in the bathroom cracked some tile and tried to wipe some caulk over the cracks and there's a water leak around the AC/heater wall unit which is making the wall and carpet bulge. One of our pillow cases had a very concerning brown smear on it. That's just disgusting!! Now for the breakfast... Unless you want a waffle or cold cereal don't bother. The little breakfast sandwiches were horrible, all the little disks of egg were cooked on the satin setting and were scorched. Let's not forget about the parking lot. They made sure there were tunnels to the center of the earth to match the rest of the potholes in PA. The ONLY thing going for them is the staff was pleasant and helpful. Again; we don't understand how Marriott is affiliated with this hotel and the extreme lack of quality. Marriott should do secret stays and inspections if they are going to be affiliated with these hotels.

Stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Quakertown for 5 nights due to my mother being in a hospice facility nearby. There were several hotels in the area, but being a lifetime titanium we choose to stay here. So glad we did. Staff was great. Breakfast was good and plentiful with waffle maker. Room was clean. My mother passed away and in the flurry of activity, we left our laptop computer in the room when we checked out. The staff (Michael) was great in mailing it back to us since we lived in a remote part of Virginia. Would not hesitate to stay here again (but under better circumstances).

Very nice hotel with good accommodations. Room was well laid out, cool, comfortable, clean and quiet. It was a little more expensive but still nice.

Cold coffee, cold breakfast, broken toilet, what they show you in the pictures on the website is definitely not the hotel. I stayed in. I can write a lot more, but I know I will not be staying there ever again.

As far as the room and facilities, this is a typical Spring Hill Suites that was several years old - everything was as expected. What made this property stand out was the staff. We were staying here as we had a family member in the hospital and this was recommended as a close nice place to stay by the hospital staff. Due to the unpredictable nature of surgery, recovery and length of hospital stay, and odd hours, we really weren’t sure how long our stay would be. We spoke with the hotel before our stay and they reassured us of their flexibility. Once we were there, this was absolutely the case. Not only was the staff really nice and checked in daily with us on how things were going, they were really helpful in finding meals during our strange hospital hours. When our family member was unexpectedly released and transferred much sooner than we expected, the staff helped us check out at the very last minute.

The vibe at breakfast was more like a bnb in that the staff sat with the guests and talked with them about what was ahead for their day. They seemed to know all of the guests and this made the whole experience much more pleasant - for what was a challenging time. Thank

Good stay

Positive: very nice staff , room was big , and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was decent with eggs, muffins, coffee and some protein options as well.

Negative: extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows. (Manager said he would move us but the overall mattresses are very hard)
Gym was very sparse. Would have loved more weight options.

We stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Quakertown while we were in town for a funeral. The staff - especially Mihaela - were amazing. They helped with my booking (including the rate) and were there for anything that we needed. The room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciate the kindness that they showed us and would definitely recommend!

Comfortable, nice pool, great for this hot humid weather! Breakfast selection was good!!
