One block from Town Square. Lots of places to eat within 5 min . Clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was great… so was the FREE Sister hotel …. Volcano Lodge …. Beautiful property to enjoy their great hotsprings . Food was good there too… went 2 days ! Uber there was usually $5

I live in Costa Rica on the Caribbean … will for sure go back to La Fortuna and will stay at San Bosco Inn!

Comfy beds … AC if needed… only used it one night … I stayed for 4 nights

For the price, this is a nice little hotel with very friendly staff, right in the middle of town. The room was simple and clean, nothing fancy. And we spent an evening at the hot springs of their sister hotel. It was perfect for what we needed, no complaints.

Very easy and nice stay

Hotel was in a great location, a few minutes walk to the main area full of shops and restaurants. The property itself is great value for money, it has an older feel and room quite small but that did not bother us at all, we really felt comfortable staying there and loved the seating areas outside each room to relax in. A higher floor had chairs facing the volcano which was fabulous. Pool was brilliant and perfect temperature. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Tea and coffee available whenever we wanted it. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We booked tours through the hotel too which were a great price. One great perk is that you get use of their sister hotel Volcano Lodge where there’s a lovely pool and hot springs. Definitely need to take advantage of this, the gardens there are beautiful to walk round and we had an amazing afternoon there. Overall an absolutely great hotel to stay at, would highly recommend

Very nice property just meters from downtown area. Easy to access restaurants and shops. There was access to a sister property that had hotsprings that we didn’t, take advantage of.

Great location close to a vibrant town centre , nice rooms and as with everywhere in Costa Rica , genuinely and consistently lovely and helpful people.

It was nothing special but then a decent price so you get what you pay for.
Our room was very dark and painted brown so made it darker and bit dismal.
Felt more like a motel, but the breakfast was good.

This hotel was a great choice. The included breakfast was amazing, it’s very centrally located AND the free use of hot springs at their sister hotel was an incredible added bonus. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the grounds were well-kept and clean. We would definitely go back and stay again.

We’ve stayed here twice now and there’s things we love and things that weren’t our favorite that we accepted as it is a budget friendly hotel, but there was one thing that occurred this time we just couldn’t look past that will have us looking elsewhere if we find ourselves back in La fortuna in the future.

Pros: amazing location (next to the best sushi place in town), wonderful friendly staff, really good free breakfast, access to their sister hotel that has hot spring pools and a wet bar which we really enjoyed. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff here.

Cons: they do not have blankets on the beds, only sheets. Not the worst but not very comfortable, but again, very budget friendly hotel so we felt this was tolerable. Beds aren’t very comfortable and lighting is super harsh which again.. is not ideal but completely fine for the price.

Deal breaker: cockroaches in the room. Not just one. But three. Not just on the ground, but one of them was found crawling ON US in bed in the middle of the night.

Overall, if it weren’t for the roaches, we’d recommend because for the cost, the pros outweigh the cons… but we just can’t look past the roaches.

The property was wonderful. It’s located in downtown La fortuna so all restaurants and shops are a short walk. It was quiet and the rooms comfortable.

Breakfast was delicious. The added perk was they gave you complimentary access to the volcano lodge hot springs which we enjoyed. Parking was easy and the staff was friendly. I would recommend staying here

Its close to everything. Shop and restaurants ans they let us to use the thermal water and you other location with no cost. Love it

The staff was amazing (front desk and house keeping). They were attentive and helpful. The rooms are great for the price and the pool has a great view of the volcano. The breakfast was good. In walking distance to lot of food options.
