Pros:

Location, mountain’s gorgeous

Cons:

It’s is dated, and old and old as in chairs in the restaurant had no padding and looked duty. Alonso the water pressure and temperature in the shower was very inconsistent.

Disappointing and expensive.
Pros:

They let us check in at midnight.

Cons:

The breakfast was like $30 so we didn’t buy it cause seriously I’m not paying that for rehydrated eggs. Their gas is about 3X more money than the only other remote ice fields location. The shower curtain stunk like ammonia. The room is incredibly outdated. There was no parking.

We were glad we stayed overnight here.
Pros:

The property is beautiful. A lot of effort has been put into the landscaping. Loved having the lawn swings to sit and view the mountains.

Cons:

The rooms are getting a little dated. The deck areas by the room could have more seating. The meals were very very expensive.

Pros:

convenient location, grossly over priced for everything Gas, Store, Food, Rooms, Dishonest staff.
Pros:

The location is a huge plus nothing within 60 miles. They have nothing else in their favour

Cons:

the entire property from rooms to restaurant, gas, store was overpriced by about 40% and that was not reflected in the quality of food, selection, spaciousness and the loss of a tablet left on top of the tall bureau and we called 2 hours after leaving the rooms and no one saw anything. Draw your own conclusion

Fabulous location
Pros:

We loved the location and the staff were great and very helpful. We chose this accommodation because we wanted to break up the Icefields Parkways drive. The whole property is quite tired, but our room was clean and comfortable enough. We actually had a great stay. We had dinner at the pub which was great and full of Canadian atmosphere.

Ok due to location
Pros:

The location is amazing, directly on the Icefields Parkway with a view over the Mountains. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning with a coffee and enjoying the view!
Check in was pretty easy, the staff were friendly.

Cons:

The hotel rooms arw very overdue! It is quite old and really would require a renovation. I got a splintee in the bathroom as the lack of the toilet got off. And moreover it is extremely overprized. We got so many really nice stays for that amount of money, that this cannot compare with. The stay is ok if you need something in the area, but the price you pay is absolutely not worth what you get.

Accommodation lets it down. Dirty and dated.Location is great.
Pros:

The location is great with a nice bar with a view. The site and bar staff are lovely staff. The grounds are well maintained. Sadly there it ends.

Cons:

The accommodation is poor. Very dated and grubby inside- needs a deep clean and ideally completely gutting. Smelt of smoke. Staff did replace bed linen and a toilet roll that was dirty. Bed uncomfortable .

The crossing in mezzo ai monti... Unico
Pros:

Motel in una posizione unica circondato dalle montagne. Nel complesso si sta molto bene. La struttura offre sala fitness, ping pong, pub, supermercato e ristorante. Staff gentile.

Cons:

Great location, friendly staff, just bring provisions to minimize the gouging.
Pros:

Great location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff in office, restaurant, pub, gas station, gift shop. Incredible view. The breakfast and dinner buffets were decent.

Cons:

Because of the lack of competition along the Icefield Parkway, The Crossing charges 40 to 300% more than you would expect on everything from gas (2.34 a liter vs 1.54 same day in Canmore), to bug spray ($29.99 for the same OFF small can that's $13.99 at Cdn Tire), to draft beer, food for the road...All prices were so outrageous.
