Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Estate

We were there to play golf and were virtually the only people there which was bizarre but meant we had the course to ourselves which was nice. Excellent course in good condition and was being prepared for a big tournament. Lodges are fine with balcony, people very friendly but menu was restricted in the evening as we were the only guests! Great wildlife on the estate and in the vicinity at Nielsvlei. Only negative was that they did not have a record of our booking - Hotels.com take note!

We had a very good weekend at Euphoria. The rooms are serviced daily while the dining area is fabulously furnished. The receptionist kept checking on us before we arrived to ensure we were ok. We indeed were made to feel at home.
One does think that there could be a wider choice of meals, especially dinner.
One attraction that drew us to Euphoria was the cable cart. Unfortunately this was not operating the weekend we were there as we were made to understand that it doesn't operate when it is cloudy.
Other than that we certainly would like to go back again.

We slept over for two nights before and after Christmas.
The rooms are nice, spacious and neat, it was however only serviced very late in the afternoons.
A fine food restaurant is advertised and we did a pre-booking looking forward to the experience.
On arrival on the booked time they could not accommodated as at the pre-arranged time and only a buffet meal (also not communicated) was available.

The food was average with exception of three picnic platters that we have order – these were tops. The cable car was a very enjoyable experience and even people afraid of heights will enjoy it. The new Waterpark adds a lot of value, however the music (that could be heard in the rooms) was very load until late evening.
We visited the spa and the ladies were very friendly. The set up is also unique with seperate units/buildings where couples can enjoy their treatments.
Disappointing was that there was no Christmas spirit- no Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree to be seen.

It was great...

The Hotel is a range of houses with the reception/restaurant and golf facilities near by.
Rooms are excellent.
As this is a very new golf resort one needs to check restaurant openings etc.
