The hotel is really nice and the staff were very welcoming. The food was also good and the breakfast had good quality produce. The decor in the bedroom was nice.
The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable and we both didnt sleep well. The grout in the shower was dirty. There was paint flaking off the door when you first entered the room. We booked a dog friendly room which were the cheaper option but the beds should still be comfy.

Felt very homely
Very comfortable and welcoming

Très bel hôtel
Very impressive entrance into an amazing building. Located a 2 minute walk into Settle.
All the staff were very attentive and treated the visitors with care and attention.
The food was excellent, I would highly recommend this hotel.
Nothing to dislike although, at times I felt the staff were under pressure due to short staffing.
Attention to detail in the showers, at the base of the glass screen there was a strip of black mold. The plastic strip had it ingrained and so cleaning would not remove it, the strip needed replacing. Despite that the rest of the room was spotless
Wonderful stay. Brilliant helpful staff ! Upgraded free of charge to four poster bed room. Lovely ambience !!
Breakfast great !
Room over lookkng country side. Rabbits in field. Robin on fence all cute !
Parking free

The hotel although quite a good size, felt very homely. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Our room [3] had wonderful views over the garden and the hills and a bath to die for..
We had our dog with us and there were no restrictions on the rooms/restaurant Eddy could go into. Even sausage provided for him with our breakfast. It was really a dog friendly hotel.
There was nothing i could think of that was negative.
Lovely helpful staff
Amazing meals
Loved our room
Great location
Nothing to add
The rooms, the snug and ambience of the hotel.
It would have been even better if there was a spa.
Not much choice at the evening meal. But a nice breakfast. Lovely charming old house. Lovely gardens. Would love to come back in the summer and sit outside. Settle was a bit of a disappointment but it was the winter. Possible more vibrant in the summer. But the hotel I couldn’t fault.
The evening meal. Not much choice.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff.
Very warm, in atmosphere and staff. Fabulous breakfast.
Shower was weak and piddly.
Lovely room and good restaurant.
All good.
Beautiful location. Lovely old characterful building. Gorgeous log fire in reception. All public areas warm and quirky decor with large candles and fresh flowers. Immaculate gardens and grounds and beautiful sunny summer house. Delicious food, both breakfast and dinner. Large comfortable bed.
No coat hangers in long wardrobe. No two pin plug for shaver/electric toothbrush. Draughty window in bedroom. Cobwebs in shower room and black grout round shower screen. Radiator valve needs fixing. Curtains in bedroom didn’t close properly and both were off the rail at either end so they didn’t keep out the light. View of large bins out of window. Nothing was done by staff about any of this, despite being told about it on first night. No communication about it to the General Manager on the first night, which I was assured would happen. When I eventually spoke to her, she just said she would take a look, but we were leaving by then.
Great breakfast with plenty of choice and plenty of hot tea
We could have got the same discount as our pals who booked around the same time
Excellent hotel relaxing, clean , beautiful building
Pass

The property is stunning being a Victorian Manor
