Location
Air con wasn’t working in 37 degrees. It failed at least one day before and no one made us aware. We checked in and again no one told us! Horrible customer service. When I checked that evening I was told I could leave the property. And do what? The next day after 4 hours of sleep I gave feedback. I was promised a call, no call! Shocking
Clean. 2 very large lounge areas. Modern interior.
Good breakfasr appreciate 12pm checkout.
No/inadequate air conditioning, Hotel stated it has air-conditioning on booking .and this was why I chose this hotel. Low marks reflecr this, as the whole point of booking this hotel was becasue it said it had air-conditioning. Totally.unacceptable.
As a wheelchair user, I tried to book an accessible room when I made our booking initially. There was no
accessible room available at that time, however, when I telephoned the hotel a few days prior to our stay,
I was told we had been changed to an accessible room. This made things much easier for me, and as a
result our stay much more enjoyable. The room was very comfortable, with a double bed for both guest
and carer as necessary. Ther beverage station in the room has a selection of teas and coffees.
A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also provided in the room.
All staff were very engaging, friendly and helpful.
A good hot breakfast was provided, with sensible quantities of the breakast items being displayed at any
one time, meaning food was not left waiting to dry out or be over cooked. All items were
replenished frequently. In addition cereal, yoghurt, bread and pastries/cakes were also available.
With the hotel being attached to the stadium, the location could not be any better, especially for
those such as myself.
The evening meal menu in 'The Huddle" was limited, although the items we had were cooked very
well.
Room size was good, good location.
Advertised as air conditioned - room temperature over 28 deg. Not what I expect when paying over £250 per night. If I had known the A/C was not working I would have booked somewhere else.
Stylish decor even though it was quite male-focused
Long walk from the stadium car park.
There was a body hair on one of the flannels in the bathroom from some one else
The room quality was fine, honestly one of the best beds I slept in during my travels in Europe. The breakfast was fine, below average compared to France and Spain, but wide variety of foods including vegan options. It would be fun to stay there during a football game and it made clearly designed to be enjoyed by sporting enthusiasts visiting the stadium. We stayed there by mistake trying to find a hotel for a long layover so we were there literally less than 10 hours. We didn't get to enjoy the other property amenities.
The greeting by staff at check in was quite mixed, with one young woman trying to be kind and helpful while her elder employee acted put out and confused by my husband's few basic questions, she was really rude and not ok. She was also cross and short to the group of people there before us so I didn't take it personally, just a snobby person? Or hates her job? It was the last stay of our vacation and less pleasant due to our interaction with her.
EXCELLENT STAFF
BATHROOM DOOR VERY DIFFICULT TO NEGOTIATE FROM A WHEELCHAIR. SLIDING DOOR WOULD BE MUCH BETTER
Location to the Stadium
For the price and we booked an expensive room, there was no milk, 1 tea bag and no bathrobes, lack of attention to detail not good.
