Leonardo Hotel Exeter

Quizá un poco frío el check-in, el personal de recepción. La habitación era un poco pequeña y tiene poco sitio para guardar las cosas, igual que el baño, pero para unos días te arreglas bien. Lo más importante es que resultaba muy acogedora.

The restaurant was cold, so it was not a welcoming environment to prolong our mealtime.

there is no shower head in the bathroom, not good ! I think the windowsill is made of metal, so the rain sounded like an orchestra until morning. It was too noisy that I couldn't sleep.

Parking charge as I think it should be included in price.

The hotel seems to have been recently acquired and is undergoing some improvements. There was a painter in the hall when we arrived, and the doors were sticking due to wet paint. We had very loud neighbors who kept us up at night.

The information about parking is out dated and misleading. The place smells old, damp and the rooms dark, dingy and with bathrooms at least 20 years out of date: The key cards didn't work properly (the duty manager had to use two dinner knives to retrieve it and said "they are so old") and it wasn't only ours as we witnessed two other guests complaining about room access.

When we returned to our room in the evening the corridors on our floor had 5 external deliveries sat outside room doors including one each side of our room. On inspection these were not room service or waste out for collection as management insisted. Delivery drivers clearly have access to the room floors of this place when it should only be staff and guests. When I challenged this with management 3 night managers surrounded me, denied the photographic evidence and when I said my wife and I felt upset and vulnerable with God knows who being allowed access to guest room doors I was accused of being unreasonable.

If we had wanted to stay in a hostel we would have done so and paid accordingly rather than pay a premium and be insulted and left vulnerable.

We have raised our concerns with customer services and yet they too can't be bothered to help or respond.

When we went down for breakfast people were handing large bags of laundry to reception staff. People are clearly living in this place, which isn't a problem per se, and staff are turning a blind eye to delivery drives have access to room where folk are dwelling.

This place is putting guests who are paying in good faith at risk and when challenged simply dismiss genuine concerns with a "oh it doesn't affect you."

NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Nicer towels would be good!
