Great hotel, close to town centre
Pros:

Walkable distance to town centre, attentive staff, very clean, rooms spacious and beds comfortable, facility to store luggage.

Cons:

The walk from St David’s train station is 30-40mins uphill (not 15mins as per website)
Air con in the room stops overnight so had to wake up very hot twice to turn it back on.
Book on your first search…price went up £30 from first search to booking three days later.

An enjoyable stay, comfortable, clean and pleasant staff
Pros:

Ease of booking was great and always kept well informed by WhatsApp/email. Great check in, staff, bar, breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Room and housekeeping were of a high standard. Good location. Made our few nights in Exeter a pleasure

Cons:

Dustcart was noisy early in the morning. Window cleaner on flat roof at 8.30 was a little disconcerting but doubt this happens evert day. Saw the funny side of it and shared some banter with the man as water came into the open window. No biscuits on room tea tray!!! As the saying goes ' a drink's too wet without one

Comfortable stay at the Leonardo Exeter
Pros:

The location is excellent if you’re coming by car and there is a city council car park right behind the hotel. The location is great. Right near the city centre and amenities and a short drive to the uni if you’re visiting there
