3rd stay. Clean and comfortable beds. Good breakfast
Me dieron la habitación muy pronto, en cuanto llegamos
Nada
Great location and easy access out. Parking directly opposite and cheap. Room was a good size with comfy bed and desk to work. Nice clothing area to.Breakfast was a good selection.
Only thing that let it down was the shower was quite small and I am not a big person. Could have been slightly bigger and better power
Friendly staff and very good breakfast
We travelled to Exeter by train and the hotel is a bit of a walk from the station - ok for us but some might need a taxi
Nice hotel. Room very clean. Good facilities and friendly staff.
We were at the back of the hotel where major refurbishment is taking place. Deliveries start early at 5am

Awakened by rude knocking by housekeeping. It was only 9.40 am not even time for checkout at 11 am. If I had not opened the door, she would have come in. She was already armed with the key card. I find it rude and an invasion of privacy. Why couldn’t she wait till 11 when everyone would have checked out?

Housekeeping. I stayed here from 25-26 May too. The same happened in the morning. Awakened rudely by housekeeping at 9 plus. So I guess it’s not a random incident. I was still asleep when I heard knocking on adjacent doors. Then she came to my door. I had to open because it was incessant. I have stayed in many hotels and this is the first the housekeeping does not know if the customer has checked out or not. At least wait till 11 unless this is your hotel’s unofficial morning call.
We were gathered as family for the memorial service of my late mother. The hotel were very thoughtful in making sure that we felt at home and had an area, with access to additional refreshments, where we could be together late into the night.
In a relaxed frame of mind, I edited my eulogy one last time, which reception offered to print out for me, and in a font size and style which I could easliy read despite my poor eyesight.
We felt loved!
