The room was great. Our bed was extremely comfortable and there was ample storage for our clothes etc. The bathroom was probably the nicest I've ever had in a hotel with double sinks, a spacious walk in shower with great water temp and pressure and also quite luxurious. The staff were very classy and efficient and it was obvious we were in a 5 star hotel. We did not eat in the restaurant and only had pastries and coffee in the morning.
The location is just ok. The actual street is a bit boring and the neighborhood is not as charming as other areas we've stayed in Rome. The room could have been cooler not that we were sweating. This was not the only hotel we stayed in and others were able to keep the temperature cooler. When we had breakfast a lovely staff member brought us coffee and a tray of pastries which was nice but I would have preferred to see a menu and choose the pastries I wanted (as I didn't like all that they chose, and didn't want multiple) and only pay for what I want and also we were lead to the bar area to sit alone with our breakfast. It was a little weird. The rooftop bar/terrace was ok but seemed like it could be anywhere so not really worth spending our time there. I know it's not their fault, but this type of hotel will have many occasions like one that took over the rooftop for an evening and the beautiful outdoor restaurant for an evening, which was actually the evening of our anniversary when we would have wanted to eat there. When checking out the receipt requests a tip and suggests a range average of 20% of the hotel bill. I found that pretty disgusting and have never seen a hotel ask for that. I ignored it and not sure if it was a coincidence but the demeanor of the staff who helped us outside with our luggage seemed to change and the taxi we were given to take us to our next location ripped us off.
Wonderful location. Staff was very helpful and very friendly. We stayed at three hotels in Italy and this one had the nicest staff by far. Excellent breakfast buffet. Room was very clean. Bathroom spacious. Very good shower. Bed was too firm for me and the pillows were rock hard as well.
This 5 star hotel is in a good location. It is clean and comfortable. We were very disappointed in our stay, however. Our room overlooked the courtyard where a band played loud music well into the night. We couldn’t sleep. The manager had multiple complaints but couldn’t help. Beware!
Very nice hotel with a great location. For the most part, the staff is very friendly and at your disposal. The service in the breakfast restaurant was not the most attentive.
Just stayed here for 3 nights with my son. What a delightful place! It started with the great help of concierge Daniela in the weeks before our arrival, what a treasure she is! All restaurant recommendations were spot on and reserved seamlessly. The room upgrade, so that we both had some privacy and own bathroom, was also appreciated. For me everything in this hotel is perfect: great beds, wonderful bathrooms with Ortigia products, beautiful lighting, enough wardrobe space and very very quiet even with our room facing the street so ideal for light sleepers like myself. The hotel is greatly located with all sightseeing places within walking distance. Lovely courtyard for drinks and morning coffee and tastefully done inside breakfast area with a vast spread of fresh food. Impeccable room cleaning and turndown service completed the perfection. The only feature we could not try because of the weather was their roof terrace: but we will be back for that for sure!! Thanks to all the wonderful people working at this Palazzo and a special thanks to super star Daniela. Lonneke & Espen
My wife and I just finished our 2nd visit this spring at the Palazzo Ripetta in Rome. We have chosen this hotel for years, extending back to the days when it was a residential hotel. It has been extensively upgraded more than once and is a delightful spot from which to explore the city. The neighborhood has several excellent restaurants, as does the hotel, and many “must see” sites, from the Borghese Gardens and museum to Trastevere, are within walking distance. The Via del Corso, a few steps away, offers great shopping opportunities.
Best of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful, treating guests like family. We hope to return and strongly recommend the hotel to visitors in Rome
Beautiful property. Great location. Excellent service and staff. Extremely clean and comfortable room.

The staff at Palazzo is great - very accommodating, super helpful and always very pleasant. The room upgrade we received was beautiful - spacious, clean, decorated beautifully.
We loved our stay at Palazzo Ripetta. Many thanks to Francesco who welcomed us so kindly and to Christian who is so fabulous and made me my new favorite cocktail: the Charlie Chaplin. Lovely quiet hotel near most everything. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay!
Lovely district, great hotel, exceptional staff
Roof terrace bar was rather over priced
We have stayed at many lovely places and this was one of the best. The location is perfect -- central without being inundated by the crowds of a piazza or the Spanish steps. It's a beautiful historic building, with elegant and up-to-date furnishings, the perfect blend of a sense of history and absolute modernity of experience. The concierge staff is top-notch, extremely helpful, kind and with great suggestions. They referred us to wonderful restaurants nearby that were just what we wanted -- simple, classic Italian food that felt truly local and unpretentious. Our upgraded room was absolutely beautiful and we slept so well.
