Pros:

It was very clean and relaxing, I loved the courtyard view with the beautiful trees and pine trees. Also they had a fire pit going. Our room was very comfortable and relaxing. This would be a good hotel to stay at during winter with all the snow and Pine trees.

Cons:

The only thing I would say they could improve on is probably the pet potty area should be fixed. It's basically a side of the hillside with gravel, dirt, rocks and other vegetation. They should upgrade it to be more clean and put some fake grass or something.

Great location plan ahead for long coffee, breakfast wait.

Cheerful and Friendly Staff
Pros:

We are loyal Marriott travelers (Lifetime Platinum) and we really enjoyed our stay at the Flagstaff Courtyard. What stood out for us was the quality of the staff! Every employee greeted us with a cheerful and friendly smile (as opposed to the professional smile one usually experiences). Another example: mid-afternoon, we noticed that the water filter indicator was not functioning on the water dispenser in the gym. We notified the front desk and that evening, when returning from dinner, the receptionist thanked us for bringing it to their attention and let us know it was fixed. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Flagstaff.

Not as expected.
Pros:

We enjoyed the location of our room which was secluded in the lower level. However, we got a suite with a pull out sofa and the sofa was quite dated and dirty appearing. The mattress looked ancient but it worked for our little kids. I doubt it would be comfortable for an adult. The shower curtain needed replaced as it was tearing apart. The website lists that it has rollaway beds but the desk stated they do not have them. They did deliver a pack n play for our youngest which then came with a mattress pad twice the size of it which would be a sleep hazard to use with a child under 1 and does not meet safe sleep standards. The pool in the photos was nice but on the cooler side. We were excited it had a hot tub from the photos but it actually doesn't and it looks like this area has been tiled in. Overall, not a terrible stay but dated and their website is not up to date with their current amenities. Their breakfast was good but is very expensive and not included.

This hotel definitely pushed our choice to become Bonvoy members. Definitely worth the price!
Pros:

Location was perfect, the driveway was one entrance and off a busy road area so we didn’t have to worry about our things being vandalized. The outdoor fire patio was perfect on a cool evening.

Cons:

The pool was cold but eh what do you expect.
