I had a super time and enjoyed my stay with family members

A let down.
Pros:

The staff fantastic. The building nice.
Seafood chowder fantastic

Cons:

The restaurant was a let down. For a 3* hotel i expected much better.
The pictures of the food didn't reflect the menu during our stay.

Now the big one for us.
The breakfast is one reason for me booking this hotel. The reviews are not correct.
It's like eating in a school gym or canteen not a 3x hotel.
The breakfast was very poor. Fried eggs like cement. Bacon dry and over cooked . Sausages well my dog would have turned his nose up.
Tomatoes rock hard and half cooked. The overall offering was less than satisfactory.

Lovely spot, staff and food.
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at the hotel for a wedding. Breakfast was so good and dinner was amazing on our first evening . Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.

Cons:

Well only that there wasn’t a lift to bring all the bags up.

Excellent, cosy hotel
Pros:

Overall excellent hotel, great location on the water. Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Nice bar and atmosphere. Good bar food. Room was cosy and spacious

Cons:

The buffet breakfast was limited. Hot food had to be made to order, very minor point I know but I enjoy having the help myself aspect and if you want more you just help yourself without calling staff

I had an issue with my room but it was sorted immediately by catriona at reception. Food v good. Good verity for breakfast.

Pros:

I have stayed numerous times because the location is ideal for my business needs. Always clean and friendly staff.

Cons:

The mattress was dreadful, every time I moved in the bed I thought I would be sea sick, in fact I have been on smoother boat rides.

Loved this hotel.
Pros:

I loved everything. It was so peaceful, the only sound at night was the relaxing sound of the sea. Comfortable and spacious room. I had breakfast and dinner in the hotel. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
