The negative aspects outweigh the positives
Pros:

This is a budget friendly hotel, but I think spending the extra $25-$50 and staying at a nearby Holiday Inn Express or other hotel would be worth it. This is an older hotel and is clean, but not at all kept up. Looks like there are many maintenance issues that need to be addressed and the outdoor landscaping is full of weeds and very overgrown. Lacks the curb appeal and if we hadn’t already pre-booked, probably would have driven to a different hotel. The breakfast was a problem. All of the hot foods were empty and I had to go to the front desk and let the attendant know that everything was empty. She then came out and started doing all the cooking and doing everything to the best of her ability as the breakfast attendant did not show up for work. There were people lining up at the desk and no one at the desk because she was doing the cooking. She couldn’t keep up with filling the food station due to all the people waiting for food. I felt bad for her and hopefully management addresses any future potential issues like this. If it was me, I would’ve called the manager to come in and work.

Adequate but nothing special.
Pros:

water pressure and temperature of shower were very good! Nice bed and pillows.

Cons:

tub was discolored in several places. Several areas that were broken chipped or discolored that gave the appearance of being unclean or not kept up. Hallway smelled. Breakfast options were limited.

Al in all great stay.
