Awesome get away
Pros:

The staff, the cleanliness and the location are top notch. The “continental” breakfast is the best I’ve ever had at any hotel.

Cons:

The only thing I can nitpick is the elevators, they’re very slow.

Disappointing at Springhill Suites.
Pros:

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Buffet breakfast was provided each day. It was was well supplied and offered eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit, eggs, juice, coffee and make your own waffles. It was clean and constantly monitored by the staff. There was a gym with cold water bottle filler, pool and hot tub. Location for us was good as you could walk just about anywhere you wanted to go. The room itself had a coffee machine, microwave and mini fridge. There was ample room with a king bed, large day bed with trundle which acted like a seating area. There was also a large built in desk. Underground parking garage ($$$) was available. TIP: If traveling from the airport, the bus 3 line takes you within 5 minutes walking distance of the hotel. (Joe Murray Rivers, Jr. Intermodal Transit Center) It cost $1.50 person and takes about 70 minutes. Cabs cost $50+ and take 30 minutes.

Cons:

The room was not particularly clean. Shower stall had grime in it, lights throughout the room and hotel had a thick covering of dust. The TV didn't work one night and the wifi was frustratingly intermittent. Cleaning was to be every other day but they seemed to come every day to change towels or soap, sometimes make bed. They threw out soap that had been used for one day and refreshed with a new one. Sometimes took towels, sometimes not. Never replaced the drinking glasses or cleaned dripped areas around coffee machine. Toilet and bathroom floor didn't ever seem to be cleaned. A couple days there was a large group of students staying who made the breakfast area inaccessible at times unless you arrived when they opened at 6:30 a.m. I would not stay at this hotel in the future simply because of the lack of cleanliness throughout.
