I am sorry that we chose to stay there. They need to burn their bedding and soft furnishings.
Pros:

Location was very ggod, walkable to main street.

Cons:

There was a stained chair in our room, and the whole room smelled stale and sour, felt deeply unclean.

2 star Housekeeping. 4 star pillows.
Pros:

Location was nice, off main square but less than 5 min drive anywhere in town. Self parking in front.
Comfy beds. Excellent pillows.

Cons:

Property needs a Refresh. Aged paint & decor from the 90’s. Our double queen suite had a terrible stench upon entering. We were in a rush for dinner, dropped off our bags, turned on ceiling fan & the AC. Returning after dinner 9:30 pm, the room still smelled foul. Exhausted & disappointed, we pulled back the sheets on the bed & discovered crumbs & sheets were not fresh! I phoned Front desk agent (nice gal) who came up with a fresh set of sheets & she smelled the room stench immediately from outside the door! She offered a room move & discount for our inconvenience. We appreciated her efforts but the 10 % discount on first night felt hardly felt compensatory for a 10pm room move on a two night booking. Attached pic of the bed when pulling back covers for the first time.

My bath towel in our new room had a long hair woven into the questionably “clean?” Bath towel. Really gross across my skin.

I liked how close it was to downtown, loved that it was family friendly and not “party central”

Cons:

It took a long time for our room to be turned over. In fact it was 5pm on Sunday before they got to our room and at that point we just asked for new towels as we were in for the evening

Although we only stayed at Barron's Creek for one night. We loved how the whole place was clean and quiet. Rooms were great! We used the pool which is kept clean with towels and plenty of places to sit and enjoy. In the morning we ate at their breakfast, that had alot of food and drinks too get you started on your day. We strongly recommend Barron's Creek for your next stay in Fredericksburg TX!

Would not change anything, the place is great!
