The hotel was very dirty due to construction, and the rooms were very noisy, and other guests were rude. The staff did not seem to care at all that we were uncomfortable.
Loved my experience at this hotel the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect so many restaurants and things to do! Brand new hotel loved my stay can’t wait to come back and stay!
The new construction looks very nice
We weren’t expecting construction but it was all good
Newly renovated hotel. And best hotel in NE Wichita ks
The front desk agent, I believe her name was Laura or Lauren, was exalent. She informed me at check in that the room i had originally booked was not available due to remodeling and had even tried to get us a room at their sister property. Unfortunately there wasnt a kitchenette at the other hotel so she gave me a tour of the rooms she had available and was able to accommodate us with a roll away bed. She gave us extra towels, sheets and blankets. She was extremely pleasant and offered me and my children water bottles and made sure we were happy with our room. The hotel was very nice even with the construction of the remodeling. All the beds were comfortable, shower was nice and i was impressed with the kitchen nook. The sister property provided hot breakfast and their pool and hot tub. Im excited to see the hotel when it is finished.
The website did not mention the hotel was under renovation
As IHG Rewards Platinum member, and with my son holding Diamond Elite status. Our four-night stay from March 12–16, 2026, was a complete disaster that has permanently damaged our confidence in the IHG brand.
Upon arrival, we discovered the entire property was undergoing major undisclosed renovations that had been ongoing since December 2025. No warning was given in our reservation confirmation or any pre-arrival communication, even though staff later admitted notification emails were “supposed to” be sent.
The moment we entered, we were overwhelmed by strong adhesive, chemical, and paint fumes throughout the building. Carpet and walls were visibly dirty and dusty. The front entrance was closed; guests were directed to a side door. The “front desk” was a makeshift setup inside a regular guest room. Normal Staybridge services were unavailable: no on-site breakfast (redirected to the neighboring Holiday Inn Express), unusable fitness center, and inconsistent housekeeping. The same conditions existed in our three suites — strong fumes, dust on surfaces, and poor cleanliness.
The most serious issue was the direct impact on my wife’s health, who has moderate persistent asthma
I filed a detailed formal complaint with IHG Guest Relations on March 17, 2026, including timestamped photos, recent guest reviews showing the identical pattern, and medical details. There has been no response from IHG so far.
Front desk manager was amazing!
Breakfast excellent along with staff
Problem with hot water.
All
None
I love the rooms and kitchenette
Friendly staff
It was pretty inside and clean
The staff here was so nice and helpful! The room was fine but the hotel needs some updating. Our TVs didn't work, and the mattresses in our room needed to be replaced. It was fine for one night, but the hotel needs a bit of a face lift!
When we arrived we found out they gave our suite to someone else with a similar name and did not have another of the same suite. We ended up having to go next door to get 2 separate rooms instead of a suite for the family. This added unnecessary strain for our family with 3 small children as we had to the split up between non-connected rooms.
When the front desk checks ID they should make sure the name on the ID matches the reservation to avoid this issue.
property needs work. Many of the beds need to be replaced. staff was the nicest I've seen there in about 5 years.
Clean and nice staff
Everything was excellent
The bath tub floor was slippery. Need something to make a little rough. I was afraid that I might slip and fall.
The location easyness of checking in, the convenience other then that this trip was very shocking kinda frightening you wouldn't believe what happen to me and my significant other
Well at around 8:30 am me and my wife woke up for a quick round of love making when at about 8:40 am the house keeper banged on the door once I yelled yesterday once the door then immediately opens she stands there staring at us for what seems like 30 seconds before me saying what the hell. I run to the door open it and ask her what's the matter with her she say it says on her paper that I was to be out at 1 pm the day before. I didn't understand how this could be a thing. I stay here every time we're in town for work it has always went very smoothly.i then closes the door not mins later do I get a call from the front dask talking nonsense about me extending my stay two days and really making no sense other then that. The job I was in town for was extended so I was forced to stay additional days I'm omw to speak with regional manager now
