I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Savera. The hospitality was excellent, and the food was absolutely awesome. A special thanks to Mr. Dinesh from Room Service for his prompt and courteous service, Floor Supervisor Mr. Vijay Kumar for ensuring everything was perfect, and the Welcome Desk team for their warm and friendly reception.

We stayed here for a month on a business trip, and our experience with the housekeeping team was truly outstanding. A special thanks to Manikdas and the entire housekeeping team, especially Dhanaswar and Somudravalli, for their exceptional service.

The rooms were always kept spotless, fresh, and well-maintained. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and friendly attitude made our extended stay extremely comfortable. Room was moderately spacious , new cushion comfortable and air conditioning perfect.
BF restaurant had a wide spread of South Indian dishes.Filter coffee was awesome.Service could be an improvement.
Check in was delayed could have been handled in a better way.

The entire staff was incredibly kind, polite, and welcoming. The housekeeping team was especially attentive and always made sure everything was taken care of with great care and professionalism.

A special mention to Mr. Manik Das and Mr. Gautam from the housekeeping management team. They did an excellent job and were very attentive, helpful, and courteous throughout my stay.

The rooms are very clean and staff is thoroughly professional.
Mr. Manik Das, Gautam and Dhaneshwar, in particular did a phenomenal job with upkeep of the room and were very cordial and polite.
The food is really good and the buffet has a generous spread.
The hotel is very centrally located so accessibility is a major plus point.

We chose Hotel Savera, Chennai as the destination to celebrate a very special milestone—my father’s 75th birthday. This was our family’s first visit to the hotel, and it truly turned into a memorable experience filled with beautiful moments that we will cherish for a lifetime.

I have personally stayed at the hotel earlier for official work, but this was the first time my entire family experienced it together. We travelled all the way from Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, and from the moment we arrived, the team ensured everything was smooth and comfortable—especially with the early check-in support extended to my senior citizen parents, which we deeply appreciated.

A special thanks to Ms. Vinitha, the Hotel Manager, and her entire team for their outstanding hospitality. Vanitha Madam and the staff did a fantastic job with the birthday decorations at the room entrance—balloons and “Happy Birthday” décor were done beautifully. They went an extra mile by arranging and gifting a birthday cake from the hotel side for my father’s 75th birthday, which was a very thoughtful and touching gesture for our entire family. Even though I had to step out for work, the hotel team took exceptional care of my family, which gave me great peace of mind.

The stay itself was extremely comfortable. The lobby ambience, spa facilities, and overall service standards were excellent. The breakfast spread, especially the South Indian offerings, was delightful. We also enjoyed the scenic surroundings, the soothing piano ambience, and dining at Malgudi Restaurant.

We explored multiple dining options during our stay:

Bay 146 Lounge had a vibrant ambience, quick service, and excellent food.
Kaaraikudi Chettinad Restaurant, which is associated with the Savera Group and located just outside the hotel nearby, was another highlight. We enjoyed an afternoon meal there, and the authentic Chettinad flavors stood out beautifully. Dishes like Chicken Biryani, Prawn Fry, and Mutton Masala were rich in traditional spices, with excellent taste and aroma.

The hotel’s location is another major advantage. It is centrally located on Cathedral Road, making it very convenient to visit key attractions such as the Basilica (National Shrine of Saint Thomas), Marina Beach, Besant Nagar Beach (Elliot’s Beach), the Chennai Lighthouse, and the Kapaleeshwarar Temple in Mylapore—making it ideal for both leisure and spiritual visits.

From my side, I truly appreciate Hotel Savera for its hospitality, warmth, and thoughtful service. It also holds a special cultural connection for me—legendary singer Usha Uthup, who is my favourite singer, has performed here during her career, which makes the hotel even more special in my eyes.

Overall average hotel experience, nothing special. Staff looks demotivated & not enthusiastic to cater to the hotel guests.

Wonderful time at Savera. I stayed here for 35 days. House keeping staffs especially Rumasri Savarika ensured our stay was comfortable. Supervision by Manager V Prabhu and Supervisor Prabhakaran is commendable. The best part of Savera is its Food.

The housekeeping service (Rumasri, Sagorika & V Prabhu) was excellent throughout my stay. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and everything was kept neat, fresh, and well organized. The housekeeping staff were courteous, prompt, and paid attention to detail, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience. I truly appreciate their hard work and professionalism. I have stayed at the Savera hotel for over four months in the last 12 months. I grew to be very fond of the staff, particularly LAWRENCE who took care of just about everything that I asked for. Kudos to ANU who went out of his way to help with a situation I had. We took the executive club room, which was spacious, with a view overlooking the pool. The room was maintained clean by a wonderful housekeeping staff. The food, particularly the breakfast and dinner were awesome. You can’t beat the location. Overall a super experience. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Chennai.

This was our first stay in Hotel Savera. Like many Guests, we choose Savera for its great location but what pleasantly surprised us was the care and service we experienced from the staff, particularly the housekeeping staff. Manik Das and Balaji, were incredibly thoughtful and cheerful in serving us. I wish hospitality industry had more housekeeping staff like them. Often, we returned to our room to find intricate Towel-Art (I have added a few photos) welcoming us and putting a smile on our face.

Our stay at Hotel Savera was enjoyable! We stayed for over 3 weeks and the hotel staff were very supportive and friendly. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast with Indian specialties including the live stations churning out dosas. We recall with special look back at hospitality extended by Mr Qadir at the time of making reservations and Mr Lawrence who greeted us every day of our stay. Chefs Kalai, Balakrishnan and Venmathy took special care of us at breakfast and we appreciate that. Ms Vanitha also took our feedback to provide antiskid mat in washroom.

Will certainly make Savera a part of our itinerary in Chennai.
