Great location!!
Hyatt Centric has hosted our annual business event for 3 years but I've never stayed overnight. Boy was I missing out!! Great room, great bed, absolutely love this place!
Comfortable room.
$40.00 charge for valet parking is excessive.
Location was great. Parking was easy. Clean and safe area free from people begging for money or causing trouble.
The TV is so old, not even a Smart TV. The price is a little too high, I don't think it should be $566 for 2 nights. That being said, I would stay here again for the convenience and the safe environment. Also, this is Texas. I understand the 30.07 signage, but the 30.05, 30.06 is pretty ridiculous. In this day and age, traveling with a concealed handgun, especially by a licensed individual is necessary and not unsafe. Once again, this is Texas and you are also located in a very conservative area. Keep that in mind.
This was my first time staying at this Hyatt property. I am usually a "Marriot" customer. But the experience at this hotel was very, very good. Valet and front desk were my first impressions, and they were both outstanding. Room was clean and large. Walk-in shower was GREAT. Ordered room service breakfast and although it was a little pricey, the food quality exceeded my expectations.
As always the Hyatt Centric was a wonderful hotel for our concert staycation. You can not beat the location or service received at the hotel.
This hotel is right across the street from the Cynthia Woods Amphitheater, you can just walk across. Very conveniently located to grocery shopping and the mall.
Perfect location.
Slightly pricey.
If you arrive late, after 11PM, this area is a food desert. All grocery stores and convenience stores are closed. There is one Exxon that you could order from a window, if you knew what you wanted. If you are hungry after a long flight find a 24 hour Whataburger, an option the desk clerk failed to mention to us; we found out about it the next day. Instead we spent a hopeless 45 minutes driving around trying to find an open convenience store and ended up spending $22.73 to get two bottles of water and some ice cream at the hotel.
As far as the room, it was very dark, even the lighted makeup mirror was dark. It was so dark you couldn't really see how clean it was. I think I left a couple of inexpensive things behind because it was so dark. There are not enough outlets on the headboard wall for a couple with two CPAPs; my husband had to crawl behind the head of the bed to unplug the phone so he could plug his CPAP in. One side of the bed was worn out, I fell into a hole when I laid down. And the safe quit working before we went to bed the second night. It was overpriced because of the area. If you want to shop at high end stores it might be a good location, otherwise, in my opinion, there is nothing to recommend it. Parking is in a ramp a minimum of a block away, depending how far back in the ramp you have to park. Our view was a roof with air conditioners on it and a dumpster full of debris.
Perfect location in the Woodlands. Friendly and professional staff at the front desk, the bar and the valet. Nice room.
This was my second stay at Hyatt centric without complaints. Room was clean. Staff is friendly. convenient Location. Although area is a little congested. Breakfast was delicious with the exception of my coffee being a bit cold, but the staff was accommodating, especially close to closing. Day three of my stay I found a piece of hair on my face towel which grossed me a but nothing that would prevent me from staying a third time.
Location and the comfort
Value
Myself, husband, and our two year old were in the town visiting some friends and decided to splurge and stay here. We are so glad we did! It’s in a great location and loved having an HEB within walking distance! The valet/bellman were sooo helpful and attentive. The hotel room was spotless. Shout out to housekeeping! The front desk staff were always smiling and ready to help. It was very convenient being able to text the desk when we needed anything. Our room service breakfast was delicious and the attendant was so sweet to us and our baby. Honestly one of the best hotel stays we’ve had in awhile. Every single employee we came in contact with was smiling and very sweet. Made you feel very welcome and at home. You won’t be disappointed staying here.
