Enjoyed our stay 4 days 3 nights. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was very clean and the pool and ambiance was very nice you can feel peaceful and enjoy nature! Will definitely book again next time I travel to Costa Rica!

Great everything. This place really stands out among the many hotels in Jaco . The staff , Ronald and Kimberly were extraordinary , the swimming pool as good as it gets !!
Breakfast rocked !! Oh , the location is near some amazing waterfalls , which you can do on your own if you walk upstream in the nearby river .

Skip the beach, head up the hill to this retreat
Pros:

We only had a couple of nights here! Wished it was longer, the seclusion was exacting what we needed. the suite, king bed, full kitchen outdoors, dining area are all pool side The staff were more than friendly and accommodating, secured parking and a spa. A wonderful cooked breakfast daily is included and they have a full menu for the restaraunt until 10pm. Teejay the manager is helpful, need anything ask him! Enjoy.
(side note: Roberto’s Place further up the hill is you go too after the waterfall)

It was a nice quiet and clean area. I didn’t like that I could hear all the noise from the other people also staying at the resort but other than the staff was really sweet and I enjoyed my stay.

Perfect location to get away from all the stress. Carla the manager/ owner was very helpful as were all the staff. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Large rooms and breakfast to order. Wonderful.

Great staff, very friendly and accommodating! The rooms smelled a little musty and needed updating. The property of just rooms and the pool surrounded by trees so don’t expect much of a view. Beds were fine and they bring you softer or harder mattresses depending on your preference. By the reviews and pictures, I was expecting a much nicer place but it was comfortable for the night. Carla was great, she made a great margarita for me even though they didn’t have them on the menu. It’s basically Imperial beer and sub par wine.

Hotel Pumillio mountain and ocean hotel is located just outside of main Jaco. Fairly easy drive to it's location. Hotel has an automatic gate for security with its own private parking area. Upon arriving you're greeted with the sounds of nature and smiles from the staff. TEEJAY and his staff are wonderful and accommodating. The massage manager Warner not only helpful in booking massages he was very helpful with local cuisine suggestions. The cafe on site is nothing short of incredible with food made from scratch. Fresh ingredients and positive attitudes from Jonathan the chef creating an amazing experience. Not only did they make my stay at the hotel an outstanding experience Teejay and his team always had our best interest in mind. Upon arriving they gathered some information on our plans and noticed an oddity in our tour reservation. Teejay went above and beyond to confirm I wasn't being taken advantage of or being asked to meet somewhere not safe. In conclusion the team made it an unforgettable experience with hopes of returning sooner rather than later

Excellent service. Rooms are clean. Beds were uncomfortable. Hotel does have offer to replace the mattress but it was so late we didn’t want bother them. Hotel will immerse you in the Costa Rica vibe. Food at the bar was okay but expensive.
