We had a perfect 5 night stay at Hotel Astoria. The room was an ideal size for us with plenty of storage. We loved the tiles and space on the balcony to dry clothes. The garden bar was great for early or late evening drinks and we loved the pool and terrace for cooling off in the afternoons. All staff were polite and helpful. The location was ideal - very central - we could walk everywhere. The breakfast was the same every day but was all fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend the hotel and we hope to visit again one day. Thank you!

Spent a week in this charming hotel and enjoyed every minute. Extremely well situated in the “old town”, among narrow, cobbled alleys and surrounded by shops and restaurants.
Bedroom with balcony had everything you’d need, perhaps a little small. We had problems with a bathroom door lock and a faulty hair dryer, reported both issues to reception but sadly neither issue was looked at.
Exquisite garden restaurant, plunge pool and sun bathing area were great.
Pricing seemed like good value and the staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfasts were a little plain, repetitive and hot food was not hot enough.
Overall, very much a four star hotel

We stayed at Hotel Astoria for two weeks, the staff, location and everything about it was exceptional! As we were staying for two weeks, Alessio on reception was fantastic and moved us into a room with a balcony, without any request or fuss! The room was extremely clean and well maintained. A massive shoutout to Alessio, Valentina, Rachele, Salvatore & Carmine for their help in making such a wonderful stay. They went above and beyond to making our holiday fun and stress free! If you’re after a true authentic Italian oasis this is the one!

Location!! The doorway gives the choice of three directions - the coastal area, the main square and the heart of the shopping alleyways - all just minutes away.

We also liked our balcony, which overlooked the alleyways, and the garden area.

Just spent a very enjoyable week in the Astoria.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town and a 2 minute walk to Corsa Italia. Hotel is in a flat part of town unlike many others which are in hilly parts of Sorrento.

As others have said the bedrooms are small and the walls are paper thin. That said, the rooms have everything you need, are comfortable with aircon and spotlessly clean.

The bathroom was wrll appointed and the shower was good.

Breakfast was a typical Italian range of fruits, ham, cheese, breads and bacon/egg.

The hotel garden bar area is ideal for a quiet lunch or drink. There is a small sun lounging and plunge pool area also.

The staff are all super friendly and a special thanks to Antonia who kept our room spotlessly clean. Grazie mille!

We will definitely return to Sorrento and will be happy to stay at the Astoria again.

La ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro para moverse muy cómodo. El hotel es muy bonito, tiene un jardín con árboles cítricos muy ameno, con un bar para tomar bebidas. Las habitaciones son amplias con lugar de guardado, camas cómodas, cuenta con calentador de agua, y dejan café o té para uso diario. Tiene frigobar. Tuve un problema con el aire acondicionado y rápidamente nos cambiaron de habitación
Tiene una piscina pequeña con hidromasaje, bien para relajarse
Las habitaciones cuentan con un balcón con una mesa y sillas

My husband and I loved our stay in this hotel and would highly recommend if you like to be in the centre of everything, the staff were all extremely friendly especially francesco who made the best cocktails and was super friendly. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice we also liked the sun terrace with plunge pool it was ideal after a day exploring. We would definitely return to this hotel 😃

Spent four nights here for my Son's wedding. This hotel was fantastic ! Location is superb, right at the centre of everything, but hidden away enough to be peaceful. The hotel itself is beautiful, a lovely little garden bar filled with lemon and orange trees, beautiful murals on the walls and shaded tables. The restaurant is classy and the food is good. Breakfast is buffet style with a LOT of choices. There is a sun terrace and a plunge pool both of which were being well used by guests. The rooms are comfortable with lots of storage and great A/C. All rooms have a balcony (or terrace on the lower floor).Staff were excellent, polite and attentive without being overbearing and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Loved my stay, and hope to come back some day
