Great hotel
I've been coming here for years as an airport hotel. Simple, cheap, small, comfortable, clean, 10 minutes to BKK on shuttle for only 150 Baht. Has a restaurant and bar but I just walk to either the small market 10 minutes or large market 15 minutes. Pool is nice too.

The place looks much better in the photos than in real life. Rooms are dated and beds are incredibly uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet was expensive and felt sketchy. Stay anywhere else.

Paid for transfer. 5 calls, 3 emails and line messages to get picked up after being told easier to catch taxi. After speaking to someone. Told 15 mins but took another call as no one came. No kettle in room (listed) breakfast voucher not given. Breakfast time had changed.
There are many places to stay near the airport, so maybe try a different one. We have stayed at this place several times over the years and it's very basic for a cheap price. This time the phone numbers listed on the website, did not work so we couldn't call from the airport for the van to pick us up. Fortunately, a young Thai woman working for another hotel graciously contacted Great Residence and then they came. At reception, they said that breakfast was not included, but I now see on my receipt that I paid for it when I booked the room. Also, there was no wifi in our room. Front desk said maybe it wasn't working due to remodeling going on (that's another thing there!). Our room was very clean & quiet. The van driver was very careful & courteous. Food at the restaurant was good. Beer was very cold.
We booked this hotel through Expedia, paying extra for their “best” room, expecting at least 3-star service.
Instead, we got a nightmare. Upon check-in, the room was extremely hot despite the AC running at 18°C. After 1.5 hours, it was still unbearable.
When we tried to shower, the shower head broke off due to a loose connector. We asked to switch rooms, but staff claimed none were available and refused a refund.
Only after we mentioned leaving a review did they move us ironically, to the room next door.
The new room had a broken AC remote with old, chewed up batteries. Replacement batteries didn’t work either. Staff were rude and dismissive one even blamed us for not knowing how to use an AC.
The hotel also took a damage deposit, which felt risky considering the poor room condition.
This was the most expensive hotel of our 2 weeks Thailand trip and the absolute worst. Poor maintenance, unhelpful staff and no accountability.
This place is nowhere near a 3-star standard. False advertising at its finest. Avoid this hotel if you value your comfort, money, and peace of mind.
Very noisy … adjacent to highway and under flight path …
internal walls are paper thin so noise from hallways is terrible … very loud band in restaurant till 11pm
No iron available, kettle in room but no coffee, tea or even a cup 🙄
The room was disgusting! Full of cockroaches, we moved out and were refused a refund!
Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour sa proximité avec l'aéroport et pour le rapport qualité prix annoncé.
Le tranfert pour l'aéroport prévu à 7h etait à l'heure et nous a déposé en 10mn.
1 transfert tre les heures.
Nous n'avons pas pu prendre le petit-déjeuner que nous avions payé (5€ / pers) car le service commençait aussi à 7h et le personnel ne pouvait pas nous proposer de box en échange.
en compensation ils nous ont proposé le transfert gratuit (150tb)
il y avait des petites taches de sang sur notre lit
la porte de notre salle de bain est restée bloquée à 23h...obligée d'aller demander à l'acceuil pour la débloquer.
cette chambre était trés bouillante.
en résumé si vous n'avez pas d'autres choix cela fera l'affaire juste pour une nuit.

Nice staff but extremely noisy from a very early time including loud excessive talking, drunk people knocking into walls and doors.
The pool and location away from main street is good.
Bed comfortable. No longer can have a hotel account to pay at end all upfront.
Worst..no locked safety box they put my items in an open basket behind desk so changed accomodation on return to hotel with locked box.
