Convenient, comfortable and efficient.
Pros:

2 blocks from Sapporo station, walkable distance to Tanuki Koji, Hokkaido University and close to number 9 entrance to the underground path connected to Sapporo station and shops. Good buffet selection of breakfast although 90% Japanese style. Showa feel.

Cons:

No gym, limited selection of Western breakfast.

MYSTAYS Sapporo Aspen was just what we needed for a day and night in Sapporo after 10 days in Hokkaido
Pros:

So convenient to Sapporo Station and providing typical good room and facilities at very good value for money.

Cons:

For 2 adult travellers with luggage, the room was typically small… we are getting used to these while travelling in Japan.

Very good stay with family~
Pros:

It was very close (less than 5 min walk) to the Sapporo Station (JR, a bit further to the subway station). It was clean and comfortable, as well as the staff being very efficient. Also, there were convenience stores and restaurants nearby.

Cons:

I mistakenly reserved a smoking room initially (I did not realize there are smoking rooms). Because the same type of room were fully booked, I paid a bit extra to move to a non-smoking floor.
