A relaxing stay
Pros:

The location was very good - a few minutes' walk from the main station. Several tram routes are nearby.
The room was quite spacious and very clean.
Good lighting in the bathroom.
Free Basel Card!

Cons:

No tea/coffee facilities & £5 for one tea seemed a little steep.
Trams can be noisy until quite late.
