A well-equipped, comfortable and convenient hotel.
Pros:

Very conveniently situated for train travel and for sightseeing in the old town.
The room was well equipped and quiet, despite being right next to the station.
There was a good choice at breakfast.
Staff were friendly and helpful

Nice staff. And has some eateries nearby, and walking distance to main train station.

Cons:

Room is abit small. And the curtains need to be upgraded to something better rather than just movable blinds.

Quite & clean. Perfect for one night tops.
Pros:

Amazingly located 5min from Basel railway station. Really friendly staff. Perfect for one night if you are passing by. But definitely not equipped and confortable for a long stay. Bed is basic but does the trick. Good thing: really quite and the tram is literally at the front door. Perfect to get around town.

Cons:

The cups in the bathroom weren’t properly cleaned (usual in this kind of hotels). Only two big towels. No towel for hands or hair. If you are a couple, it isn’t the best.

Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für einen Kurzaufenthalt.
Pros:

Lage: Wir haben ohne Probleme unsere Ausflugsziele erreicht!
Zimmer: Zweckmässig!
Personal war freundlich!

Cons:

Frühstück: Auswahl war nicht reichhaltig! Unter anderm hat der Sonntagszopf gefehlt!
Bar: Ausgeschilderte Getränke waren teilweise nicht verfügbar, z.B. Limoncello Spritz!
