What I didn’t like was the arrogant attitude of some staff members and the lack of attention to detail. The property also feels dated and could be better maintained.

True Grand Dame throughout - apart from the room!
Pros:

Real old school grand dame of a hotel - great location on the lake. food was good as was the service throughout. We were in the new wing and the room was dsiappointing, good size and had everything but the interior looked like an afterthought, was more motel set up than 5 star hotel which was the only disappointment.

Lake side dream location
Pros:

We recently spent 3 nights at Grand Hotel Fasano. We were delighted with the hotel - the room was spacious and beautifully decorated - we booked a lake view room and it was well worth the additional charge with amazing and immediate views. Despite being close to the bar, it was also quiet. A little more counter space in the bathroom would be helpful - but again really well appointed. We dined at the more casual osteria where food, service and view were great. Breakfast is in the same area and was a real highlight - calm, serene, lots of tables, and excellent service. We were so pleased to not only have a very comprehensive buffet , but also an à la carte menu which had lovely options. You can swim in the lake, or one of three pools, and there was never a shortage of sun loungers or sun umbrellas. We would love to return one day.

Le Grand Hôtel Fasano, un magnifique hôtel pour un séjour de rêve
Pros:

Le Grand Hôtel Fasano est exceptionnel. Sa situation au bord du Lac de Garde, le confort de la chambre, la gentillesse du personnel, les petites attentions, la qualité des restaurants et bars, les piscines et le spa… tout est formidable. On n’a plus envie de bouger, juste l envie de profiter du moment.
