What a gorgeous setting and amazing building
The rooms on the street side were a bit noisy
The location was beautiful! The staff was amazing!
Posizione, servizio, cortesia.
Niente, tutto molto gradevole.
Wunderbar gelegen an Gardasee
Unser Zimmer hatte keinen Seeblick sondern zur Straße
Relaxing spot - lovely gardens. Bar terrace was great for evening cocktails. Spa and Sauna area large and easy to use. Very helpful staff.
Small details- wine on arrival, chocolates left in the room every day, local sweets in reception.
The service in this hotel very sadly does not live up to the setting. A few small examples: on no day did any of the pool staff ask if we needed or wanted water or a drink of any kind; there was no milk for coffee in the rooms and we had to ask for it; at breakfast the toaster took 3 or more times to create toast; the food in Pescatore was pretty woeful, we were advised not to eat in Il Fagiano as the we might be equally disappointed; the service in Pescatore lacked even the basics of any basic restaurant ability to communicate between staff; there were no wine glasses in the room; the lunch/bar/room food menu is the same and is simply not up to scratch for the price; some of our pillows had no protectors and had minor stains on the pillow; the room design was somewhat lacking in privacy; the Guest Relations Manager seemed to have trouble relating to what it means to be a Guest. I sincerely think that the management need to have some honest conversations in order to provide a much better overall Experience, not simply an experience based upon the Building, the Grounds and the Setting. At no point in any service was I asked if things were okay - why not ? Was there any Hotel survey ? I saw no Management curiosity as to what we thought of our days. It was not what we have normally experienced either in terms of "fine dining" or a Leading Hotel of the World member. The food and service was far better at the many local restaurants - I have never stayed in a five star hotel where I felt unable to eat in the Hotel in the evening.
I really enjoyed Grand Hotel Fassano. Great atmosphere. Great service. Would go back!
Beautiful hotel and very well maintained. Delicious breakfast. Staff is very accommodating and they even were able to upgrade us for free on request
Nothing, i would happily visit again
Everything about this hotel was a dream. From the moment we stepped in, we were in the lap of luxury, never lifting a finger. Breathtaking views from every corner - especially our room and the the breakfast area. Incredibly attentive staff who go out of their way to make your stay special, including the concierge contacting us a month in advance to help us plan a few excursions through third parties. There is more than enough seating by the lake and super comfortable to boot - with attentive employees and table service. The breakfast buffet is an absolute dream and my favorite piece of all was sitting there every morning with the birds, soft music, and delicious food. This was worth every penny and more and I'll be dreaming of this for years to come!
Pobyt cudowny az nie chciało się wyjeżdzał. Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie. Wspaniały personel, zawsze pomocny. Pyszne jedzenie. Strefa spa niesamowita. Czuliśmy się otoczeni opieka. Nasz wypoczynek był jednym z najlepszych i chętnie wrócilibyśmy.
Posizione meravigliosa, colazione di altissima qualità,
L’approccio del fattorino all’arrivo nella parte esterna della struttura. Parlava e capiva pochissimo l’italiano.
You cannot fail to be wowed with the setting and the building, but the actual delivery of the total Experience I would say is questionable. The staff are highly attentive and highly trained in detail. The question is, does this really deliver a great Customer Experience and is it tailored to the Customer as you would expect in a Leading Hotel of the World and a Michelin Restaurant. Does the detail of the positioning of a fork or a napkin outweigh the importance of a meal that is tasty, satisfies and is delivered in a manner that enhances the Experience of the Setting. Every experience I had in this hotel was that the balance was wrong. There was a stiffness in the many junior staff who were clearly being trained and nervous to get things according to the book. In doing this, the service lacked fluidity and attention to the Customer. The menus were odd to say the least and lacked balance. The lunch, bar and room service menus are effectively the same and were not as good as a tourist lunch menu in any restaurant in Verona at half the price. They need to improve dramatically in my view.
The outside space was nice.
The bed was hard and not at all confortable.I was unable to sleep, that cannot happen in a 5 stars hotel.
As well, there was nothing but water in the fridge and room to eat. No chips, peanuts, coca cola, nothing. The reception’s decoration looks like an office, not at all warm, neither elegant. The food dinner, was presented as soecisl snd esquisite, but had no interest at all.
The outdoor bar area was
Very inviting and snacks were good.
Can’t think of anything.
