Pros:

Emplacement idéal pour visiter la ville. Belle vue sur le détroit et la Sicile. Service petit déjeuner et restaurant très agréable grâce à Gloria , Francesco et les autres.

Vi kunne godt lide beliggenheden tæt på både by, strand og isbod :-)
Værelset var fint og stort. Fin udsigt til Sicilien og Etna fra restauranten.
Personalet, især rengøringspersonalet, var søde. God kaffe om morgenen.

Cons:

Gulvet på værelset var meget beskidt, vi fik sorte fødder af at gå på gulvet. Morgenbuffeten var kedelig, masser af kage, lidt frugt brød og pålæg. Vi var så uheldige, at der var arbejde ude foran vores vindue hvilket vi ikke blev mødt i ifht evt nedslag i pris. Aircondition larmede. Sengene var lidt hårde, men det kommer jo an på hvad man er til.
De svarede i øvrigt ikke på vores tre beskeder så vi måtte ringe til dem!

A frictionless overnight with an amazing breakfast
Pros:

The room was large and luxurious, and well appointed with toiletries. The breakfast on the top floor was outstanding in quality and variety, with amazing cakes and pastries as well as a staffed coffee bar. The hotel reception staff was extremely helpful when I needed to drop baggage and they attended to it by moving it to our rooms without being asked. Checkout was a breeze.

Cons:

The hotel is dated. It looks like a five-star hotel from 50 years ago but would cost a fortune to renovate the hotel to the standard to when it was new -- which would require astronomical pricing to recover the investment. The hotel is best left as it is, so that it is affordable for tourists like my family. The hotel services Globus tours, and the Globus tourists were allowed to eat from the regular hotel guest breakfast, but the regular hotel guests were not allowed to eat from the Globus tour breakfast area. That's not right... either Globus needs to stay in their area, or allow others into their breakfast.

Great Location ; night shift front desk clerk made us a coffee at 4:30 am while waiting for the cab / airport - traveling a lot - it was first time ever :)
