Absolute value for money hotel
Pros:

First dropped off which is always a bonus.
Quiet location, only 500metres from lovely safe swimming cove.
Same distance to excellent spots to see amazing sunsets. There is also a shop and a few restaurants within a 5 min stroll.
Lovely walks around hotel, I would say this location and hotel is more suited for couples or groups of older friends than families with young children due to the lack of amenities close by.
We had a lovely 10-15 min amble to the Commercial, whuch is a small strip of several restaurants, shops and bars which was a nice change. Great bus service which stops right outside of the hotel.
We used it twice to visit Cutuidella whichbus a must see and once to Cala on Bosch, lovely beaches which you can walk to both along the cliffs.
The hotel and grounds are spotless, the room was large and with a fridge. We didn't use the safe.
The food was presented well and hot, it was always well cooked and varied, themed nights are very good.
The show cooking was always a fish and a meat dish with plenty of choice of sides. The salads were tasty, fresh with stacks of choice.
No problem finding sunbeds or a brolly, we pitched in the quieter grassed area at the back of the pool, and got bith ved and brolly every day.
Be mindful of the sprinklers though, they dont go off until 8 a.m.
Ecery member of the staff seemed happy to working there. Always smiling and approachable, the well trained team work really hard to make sure you have a great holiday. So dont forget to drop them a little something to show your appreciation.
The drinks were fine, Sandra Mjguel from the pump and the wine was very palatable.
It's help yourself in the restaurant including soft drinks and coffee.
The staff in the restaurant work tirelessly to make sure the tables are cleared and cleaned quickly and effectively.
Plenty of daily activities organised by a hard grafting animation team. I only joined thd water gym classes but there was plenty of choice for both adults and children.
The pools are great sizes especially the kiddies, there is a lifeguard.
This hotel is true value for money, and then some. It's not luxury but it is a clean well teained and established team doing everything right, resulting in excellent customer service and satisfaction.
We are a very well travelled youthful over 60's couple.
This was our first time to Memorca and we were at pains to know why.
We had a cracking chilled 11 night break at this hotel, met some lovely like minded guests. The experience was so perfect we will be returning next year.
Thank you to all the staff at the Globales Cala Blanca, hope yo see you soon.

Best Holiday in the Sun
Pros:

I really can’t understand the negative reviews
My husband and I had one of the best holidays in the Cala Blanca Hotel
The staff are very friendly
Best evening entertainment we have had
Yes our room was dated but clean so that was fine
Pool area was great plenty of beds no need to rush in the morning like some silly people putting towels on beds at 6 o’clock
The food was great i am Celiac and allways found something the freshest of salads fish and meat your own toaster gluten free bread, porridge, cornflakes, biscuits and cakes all on a separate tray which was a lovely touch (Hope the other Globales Hotels on the island and we have visited many are reading this because they don’t do this at breakfast time )
The area around Hotel is quiet but lovely enjoyed our morning walks and there’s a Bus Stop right outside Hotel 2 euros to visit Cidudella is a must
Thanks to all the Staff for a wonderful holiday hope to see you next year

Very disappointed whole hotel tatty and in need of TLC
Pros:

The food was good with a great choice.
The pool was clean and as described.
The staff in the most were friendly.
The activities offered at the hotel were average.

The bathroom had mold, the ceiling in the bathroom was broken and there was no extraction so the bathroom became dripping wet and the floor slippy after a shower or bath.

There was pealing paint on the ceiling in the bedroom and on the balcony.

The lighting in the hotel rooms was very poor and when we first arrived was not working properly.

There were rips in the curtains in my son’s area of the room.

The tiles on the balcony were uneven and dangerous.

The decking outside the bar was very bouncy and unsafe. When sat at the table you had to keep hold of your drinks when people walked past or they would bounce off.

The laminate flooring through the ground floor areas was poorly fitted, slippy and a fall risk.

If you were not awake at the crack of dawn every sun bed was already taken by the pool, some people left towels out all night.

No food apart from ice cream and snacks out of the vending machine could be taken by the pool to enjoy even though it is all inclusive. The free ice cream, chips etc available for snacks had to be eaten in the restaurant.

The general appearance of the whole hotel was in need of TLC.

There were a lot of complaints when we were there and most people agreed this is not a four T hotel. I would say a three at most for the food etc but a two for the accommodation.

The Area is 5 star for beauty, peace, beach etc and the trips we did with TUI where really good. I would return to Menorca but never this hotel again.

Relaxing quiet all inclusive holiday
Pros:

Location was quiet but ideal for bus travel to Mahon and Citadella. Lovely beach 5 minutes across road.
Very friendly welcome, staff all very helpful. Room was comfortable, clean and pool view balcony.

Lacked awareness of possible cross contamination at buffet. No separate GF options, were in trays next to non GF choices. No separate toaster. Quite limited choices in whole week with little or no variety. Staff need educating on dietary requirements, cross contamination and consequences.

Pros:

Cheeky little get away!
Pros:

We booked this as a cheeky little get away as a cheap and cheerful holiday, and it did not disappoint. If you are wanting hustle and bustle, this will not be for you. We arrived just as tea was being served up, we dropped our bags off and went for food. The food is alright, just general AI food, generally something for everyone. Drinks…the AI drinks suited us, you don’t get a massive choice, but that’s fine by us. The rooms are basic, but are clean, beds comfy, when we arrived the room that we had booked had no balcony (my fault) so the next morning we asked to see if we could pay for an upgrade whilst we were here, but the only room they had available was a much smaller room, we weren’t charged for the switch, it was literally half the size, but that didn’t bother us as you only sleep in your room so size really wasn’t an issue, it just goes to show how good all the staff will try to accommodate you the best that they can. They all work so hard. The pool is only small, but lovely and clean. What surprised me is that there is a pool hoist, as we have been to bigger and busier hotels, and this is the first one that we have seen that has a hoist for disabled users. The animation team work their socks off, it must be really hard work being so cheerful, and getting people involved. They have Bingo every night at 9pm and we won on the full house, 96 euros (paid for a nice meal out on our last night) then the other entertainment starts at 10pm. There is a nice cove beach about a 5-10 min walk away, the sea was lovely and clear when we went for a swim. If you are wanting something different to eat, there are bars around the cove and a sunset bar at the end to watch the sunset. If you are wanting more choice for eating out, if you walk about 15 mins away from the hotel, there is a promenade with other restaurants near the sea front and a nice little Irish pub called the Blarney Stone, that do a nice cup of tea after a morning of investigating around the area. All in all if you are wanting a quiet and relaxing “fly and flop” kind of holiday, this is an ideal place to be. The staff here have been fabulous and the holiday has been great, just what we needed.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Had a fabulous 10 night stay .
The room was clean and comfortable with daily room cleaning , regular bedding and towel changing . We enjoyed the food especially the theme nights . Some of the food wasn’t very hot but there is a microwave if required . There was always plenty of choice . The dining room can get busy however we timed the meals as is so that we visited when nit as busy . The bar staff were very attentive and overall all the staff were very friendly . The animation team are great and try to get people involved . The night time shows were generally good, though this is down to personal choice . The local area is quiet there are a few bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk . The beach is a couple of minutes walk away . There is a supermarket next door . Overall the hotel was lovely and well maintained and we would stay there again

Excellent stay!
Pros:

We stayed at the hotel from 15–22 May with friends and family and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel offers excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of the service, food, and atmosphere.

The biggest highlight of our stay was definitely the animation team, especially Mayte and Judith. They were absolutely fantastic from morning until evening — always smiling, full of energy, and genuinely passionate about making guests have a good time. What stood out most was how naturally they connected with people of all ages. They created such a friendly and positive atmosphere around the hotel that it really became part of what made the holiday special. Whether during activities, shows, or simply chatting with guests during the day, they made everyone feel welcome and included. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they deserve a lot of credit for the atmosphere in the hotel.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the food. There was a very good variety every day, with fresh ingredients, tasty local dishes, and enough choice for everyone in our group. Meals were something we genuinely looked forward to.

Another thing we loved was the location. The area feels quiet, authentic, and much more relaxed than large tourist party resorts. There are beautiful beaches nearby with clear water and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing walks or spending the day by the sea.

The hotel grounds themselves are also beautiful, full of well-maintained plants, palm trees, and greenery that make the whole place feel calm and tropical. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly and helpful, and room service was very good — our rooms were always clean, comfortable, and well looked after.

This is not a dedicated party hotel, and honestly that is part of its charm. If you come with the right attitude, ready to relax, enjoy the entertainment, and appreciate the atmosphere, it can be a truly perfect holiday with lots of fun and great memories. There is still the possibility to party and enjoy evening entertainment, but it is not the kind of place with loud parties continuing all night long, which for many guests makes the experience much more enjoyable and balanced.

We left with very positive impressions and would happily return in the future ❤️

Wonderful, peaceful and very pretty. Roll on next year for Part 2!
Pros:

Globales Cala Blanca is an absolute gem of a hotel in a superb location, but read the description on the hotel and travel companies website before going there - it is NOT a party location, and is located in a largely residential area, but a beautiful area with private villas and local homes all surrounded by trees and the view from our pool-view balcony overlooked the local area and the sea. Oh - and what a sun-trap the balcony was!

The local area is very quiet and clean, and we felt perfectly safe walking around there.

Staff are welcoming and work very hard to keep you comfortable and entertained. Take in as much of the live entertainment as you like (which can be VERY good indeed), or just kick back and chill on the decked veranda. Bar staff, housekeepers, chefs and table staff were all excellent.

Bar has the usual assortment of all inclusive options, with things like Magners Cider, premium spirits available for you to pay for.

Our TUI Rep, Rafael was always on hand to help out, and a very nice chap too!

Food is typical All Inclusive service, but really good variety and hot and fresh. But if you fancy a change, there are restaurants only a few minutes walk from there at the Clana Blanca cove - more on this later!

Rooms - our room was well furnished and immaculate inside (Superior twin with pool view balcony), beds surprisingly comfortable and air conditioning that worked!

Our safe in the room was 41 euro rental for the week, with an additional 10 euro returnable deposit - I had no problem paying that as its cheaper than losing passports!

Some people commented while we were there that there was nothing to do at the the hotel, and that is kind of the point - get out into the local area and explore! So what to do in Cala Blanca?

To be honest, if you are the kind of person who likes to bathe in the sun all day, a dip in the pool and then chill out with a few drinks on the hotel grounds (which are very pretty and well maintained) , then this is a perfect place for you.

Out and about, there is a small sandy cove looking out to sea just around the corner which is idyllic - you can hire a sunbed and parasol for around 8 euros for the day.

Around 800 meters from the hotel is a rocky coastline outcrop which looks out over the sea, and the sunsets are amazing!

The Cala Blanca Restaurant is a great place for drinks or something to eat, with an extensive menu.

A supermarket a minutes walk from the hotel for your water, milk etc., with gifts an souvenirs, sun protection, wines and spirits etc. Note - you can't buy tobacco from local shops - you have to go to approved Tabac shops in Ciutadella.

Cala Blanca's small commercial centre is a ten minute walk away for more shops and restaurants, car hire outlet and the great Blarney Stone Irish Pub - great pint here and excellent burgers! There is also a pharmacy and doctor here too.

Right outside the hotel is a bus stop - catch the L64 service to Cuitadella for 1.70 euro - drivers are great, understand English if you are nervous trying the local lingo and take you to the bus terminus in Cuitadella. Buses only take cash, and notes no bigger than 20 euro - so take the right change if you can. The hotel reception can help you here.

A 10 minute walk to the centre of Ciutadella, or if it is on the stand, catch the free shuttle bus to the centre, which takes you to the main square.

We loved Cuitadella - You MUST go and see it - it is achingly pretty with wonderful architecture and side streets, and a shoppers mecca with boutiques, bars and tapas, deli's and bakeries - and you must check out the cathedral ( opens after 5pm from memory). You must try the Ensaïmada's - very moreish and in a variety of fillings - a very popular pastry with the locals too - it is a specialty of Menorca. Don't forget to check out the harbour, where you can indulge in a huge variety of seafood from the various restaurants here

You can easily spend a day here, and not see it all. Monday and Friday are Market day here with a huge assortment of local crafts and typical market clothing etc.

Return to the hotel bus stop is easy - buy your ticket from the kiosk on the bus terminal, ask for a ticket to Cala Blanca, pay your 1.70 euro again and off you go. The L64 leaves the terminal on the hour until 9pm.

if you miss the last bus, there is a taxi rank in Cuitadella main Square, and a taxi back to the hotel was around 9 euros, before tip. Taxi's take debit/credit cards too!

Overall, we absolutely loved Cala Blanca and have already booked to return in May 2027. We came home relaxed and happy, while very sad to leave. But - we will be back! Thanks to the whole Cala Blanca hotel team, Rafael from TUI, the drivers from Torres buses and all the Menorcans who made us feel very welcome!

Enjoyable holiday
Pros:

We arrived to be welcomed by Raphael giving us some local gin whilst we checked in. We were straight into our room, 346 which was on the top floor with a wonderful sea view. The bed and pillows were super comfy and the room was clean.
The food was fresh and plentiful but limited choice due to the hotel being smaller. We always found something yummy but labels would be beneficial to avoid allergic reactions and waste.
Lovely undercover seating area, plenty of sun loungers and indoor seating if preferred.
The evening entertainment was very good except the karaoke, which was painful.
The hotel is positioned in a great spot, it’s quiet but accessible to amenities and beaches to watch the beautiful sunset.
The bus to Cuitadella stops right outside the hotel and cost just €1.70 each way. It’s definitely worth a visit being full of historic buildings, boutiques and a market. We thoroughly enjoyed Casa Oliver which only costs €5 to visit and it stunning.
We would return to this hotel and definitely prefer Menorca to the other Spanish islands we have visited.

Disappointed after reading reviews
Pros:

First think first.
The coach drops you away from the hotel so if you have health or mobility issues it can be stressful carrying your cases to the hotel. Not sure why the hotel cannot arrange to meet the coach and transport the cases for you. No soft drinks to welcome you upon arrival to the hotel .
Expensive safe and first time in years we have had to pay for pool towels and also pay
again to change them at a four star hotel.
The hotel is clean with some very friendly staff. The food is subject to your own taste, but i prefer plain food not everything covered is sauces, oil, garlic butter etc. None of the food shows allergy icons, i.e. nuts, seeds etc. When I asked if they could cook food oil free they said not possible.
The restaurant is over crowded with tables being so close to each other you can share your neighbours food. Same with the sunbeds.

I think this hotel is like Marmite you either love it or hate it.

It didn't work for us and we wouldn't go back, but I do understand why people love it.
The Globales logo, The Hotel of you Lifetime, is true just not for the right reason for us.

Pros:

Returned again 6th to 17th May.
Brilliant hotel. All the staff really make it a pleasure to return, they make you feel so welcome.
The food was a of good choice the theme nights we enjoyed.
Rooms comfortable, ours had a walk in shower which we requested.
Mayte and Judith are the best animation team, hard working and always smiling.
Entertainment on a night was varied and very good.
We met some guests who were there last year. Just to mention Mel and Val .
Hopefully returning next year.

5 star staff best holiday ever
Pros:

We originally wrote a review whilst we were still at the hotel, but now that we are home, we felt we had to write another one because this holiday truly was something special.

From the moment we walked into reception, we were welcomed with the warmest smiles and made to feel instantly at home. It honestly felt like we were returning guests rather than first-time visitors. The entire reception team were absolutely outstanding — professional, kind, caring, and always happy to help with anything at all. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, but without question, this was the best reception team we have ever experienced. Every single member of staff was amazing, and even now, sitting at home writing this, we can still picture those wonderful smiles.

The restaurant staff, waiters, waitresses, bar staff, housekeeping team — every single person worked so incredibly hard whilst always remaining friendly, cheerful, and approachable. The restaurant manager was constantly smiling and making sure everything ran perfectly. Service was quick, efficient, and always delivered with genuine kindness.

The bar staff were lovely and so chatty, making every visit enjoyable. You are not supposed to have favourites, but we definitely did! They helped create such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere every single day.

Housekeeping also deserve huge praise. The hotel was spotless throughout our entire stay, and the chambermaids/chambermen were always smiling and so efficient.

Now to the two amazing entertainment ladies — what an incredible job they do! We have honestly never met entertainers quite like them. They were bubbly, energetic, welcoming, and constantly encouraged everyone to join in the activities, even when some of us (especially me!) were absolutely terrible at them! Their positivity was infectious and they made the holiday even more memorable.

The reason we are already hoping to return in September is because of the people. The staff are what make this hotel so special, and Globales should be incredibly proud of every single one of them. They work tirelessly to make sure guests have the best possible holiday, and it truly shows.

Nabella and I had the most wonderful 10 days and met so many lovely people during our stay.

As for the hotel itself — it was exceptionally clean throughout. If you are expecting a luxury 5-star hotel with kettles and coffee facilities in the rooms, then this may not be for you, but the rooms do include shampoo, body wash, and a fridge, and irons are available on request.

The food was very good with plenty of choice every day. Sometimes it could be slightly lukewarm, but there is a microwave available if needed. There were always fresh meats, salads, fruit, fish, paella, pasta, snacks throughout the day, and breakfast especially offered a huge variety. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks, wine, and beer were all available in the restaurant for all-inclusive guests. Honestly, if you cannot find something you like here, then all-inclusive probably is not for you!

The pool area was always clean with plenty of sunbeds available. The bar staff were strict about glasses not leaving the hotel area for health and safety reasons, which we completely understood and appreciated. The limit of three drinks per person also helped keep service moving quickly for everyone.

The beach is literally on the doorstep, just down a few steps, which was perfect. Evening entertainment was enjoyable too, especially the nightly bingo with some great cash prizes!

If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday with genuinely exceptional staff who make you feel valued every single day, then this hotel is absolutely perfect.

Nabella and Jeannette will definitely be back — and we cannot wait to see you all again, meet new friends, and hopefully catch up with old ones too! xx

Another great holiday
Pros:

Returned home yesterday after another great 11 night holiday at this hotel. Please read the reviews that I did in May and October 2025 as nothing has changed for me other than a couple of things. We met up with some people who were also returning eg Frank, Stewart / Elaine and Graham & Dehlia, Ian to name but a few. We also met some new people who were lovely eg the North East ladies and BSA Dave & Barry. The people who did the activities all enjoyed each others company as Mayte and Judith make them so welcome. All the evening entertainments were very good but the Drifters were excellent. All the bar staff are so friendly but a special mention to Gemma & Marc. Victor runs a very efficient friendly bar. All the other staff are a credit to the Manager but I would like to say a huge thanks to Gisela and Marina on reception who went way beyond the norm to help us when my wife's handbag was lost for around 12 hrs. All being well we look forward to returning in the Autumn. PS If Gemma ( from May 2025) reads this.... I did better this time round.
