It’s a nice little hotel in a quiet residential area. There is no allocated parking, so if you hire a car it can be a little difficult at times to park. The check in was swift, however we were not allowed to pay the deposit for the safe when we checked in, we had to return later to do that, which seemed long winded to me.
The food was average at best with not a great selection. At one meal I found a coarse, black hair in my risotto which I found incredibly grim. We ate out for a lot of our evening meals.
The pool area was clean and well kept. Sun bed wars do happen. It was very hot while we were there so a lot of us adults would sit with our legs in the children’s pool. The lifeguard told my husband off for having a beer while doing this. There was another large group there, who were celebrating a big birthday, who got drunk daily and were very loud, and would jump and bomb into the main pool but that was absolutely fine.
Our room was small. We had problems with the lighting in the room for the whole of our stay. The bed side tables are supposed to light up, we only found that out because my husband turned over in bed and his started flashing then the main lights went out. They were supposed to fix it, but they never did. Our kettle blew too, so maybe it was something wrong with the room.
Our floors weren’t particularly clean either. There was a lot of fluff and dust around the edges. We like to go to the beach, so they did get sandy but they never appeared to be swept properly. One day the cleaner didn’t leave us any hand towels so we asked her for some, the way she reacted anyone would have thought we were asking her to give us her life’s savings.
We love Menorca, we go almost every year but we won’t return to this hotel, nor would we recommend it. There are a lot better ones out there for a similar price.
We went to this hotel in May 2025 and have just returned from another great 11 night holiday. This one did not disappoint either. I could just copy and paste what I wrote in May because once again it was excellent relaxing holiday.
Activites. I love having a go at the activities as it's made so inclusive and enjoyable by Mayte and Judith. The activities included archery, air rifle, air hand gun, Shjoelen, shuffle board, darts, boules, ping pong, water aerobics and fun games like 'Bang Bang" and lots of others. You make lots of friends through joining in and everyone is made so welcome.
Entertainment ... Again it was a high standard with singers, magician / escapologist, jugglers / contortionist. The singers got the place 'rocking' and that's tough when I'd say most of the audience were probably 55+ in age! Whoever booked the acts did a great job. The Mowtown evening was the best music and the Etheopian Circus were amazing. The only 'dud' was the Reggae duo.
Staff ... All the staff were friendly, helpful and did a fantastic job. This covered everything from those who did the bedrooms, cleaning, cooking, clearing up, serving in the bar, reception etc. I must highlight how well Astrid on reception dealt with a person who was smoking on the decking where smoking is prohibited. She did it in a very professional manner and it didn't happen again. Gemma at the bar was also great as she always had a smile and all I'll say to her is "save the legs".
Cleanliness.. It was spotless. All public areas were kept so clean and tidy. There was no litter and tables were cleared very quickly. The restaurant was a great place to eat. The air temperature and humidity was perfect. All the staff were super quick and friendly.
Food and drink .. The food was a 'help yourself' buffet and the range on offer was very good. There was plenty of choice with chicken and pork being the most common meat though. I didn't hear anyone complaining about being hungry as there was plenty of choice. We were AI and the spirits / liquors were not premium brands but they were available to buy. Also the bar staff were very friendly, helpful and worked very very very hard. They were all great.
Hard external areas ... they were kept clean and tidy all day and evening. There is a large decking area next to the bar / entertainment room which has plenty of chairs / tables and soft seating. It also benefits from a canopy that can provide shade for 50% of it.
The pool area is down a few steps and would benefit from a handrail being fitted though.
I saw the pool water being tested frequently. There is also a chairlift to help people in and out of the water.
Soft external areas .... There are large grassed areas for people to use if they wanted to be away from the pool / decking area. The bushes and hedges are shaped and are clearly looked after. The front of the hotel has a grassed area with some well maintained plants. That area is also another lovely quiet place to sit and has some very comfy chairs.
Gym ... I'm not a user of gyms but went to look at it. It looked well equipped to me eg weights, walking / cycling machines etc.
Smoking ... I am not a smoker and hate secondary smoke. This hotel has a designated smoking area outside which is well away from tables, chairs and sunbeds etc. They have provided chairs and tables in the space. Credit and thank you to everyone who went there. I just hope the hotel continues to enforce it again when we intend to return in early May again.
Music ...The only music that was played outside was on a morning by the Animation team and that was via a portable player / speaker. It was at a level where you didn't necessarily hear it at the the other side of the pool. Again, most people appreciated this. Also 'thanks' to those people who listened to their music via headphones etc ie no one had to complain about the selfish people who play it out loud via their own device
Location .. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and there are not many shops / bars etc near by. A few people said they expected more but we knew exactly what were hoping for and got it in bundles. We found a gem of a place where we could relax and have a great time.
Other guests can make a holiday one to remember and once again we met lovely people. It was great to see Colin, Shiela and Frank / Paco again from our previous visit. We also met more guests who added to our holiday experience . They included ....Rod & Theresa, Dave from Wigan who was fantastic on the Karaoke, Adam & his family, all the Home Bargain ladies from the North East, Chelsea & her 'dogs', Pam & Chris plus many many more.
Finally ... All being well. If Mayte and Judith are there, we are looking to book again to return on 2 May for 11 nights and it would be great see old and recent guests again.
Thank you to everyone at this hotel

We had a lovely weeks visit to this hotel on All Inclusive, and it was our first time in Menorca. We were not disappointed!
We found the location brilliant and close to the beach, where you could watch fantastic sunsets! some lovely varied restaurants as well.
The food in the hotel was great and it changed every night to a different theme.
The staff were brilliant and polite and super friendly as well.
The animation team were great with some good quality evening entertainment and fun day time activities cocktail games etc...i would encourage you to join in with these.
Plenty of sun loungers around the pool and grass areas. Room was cleaned every day if required and the hotel was in a very clean condition. It's a quiet location so no loud bars clubs etc . Perfect for a quiet escape. I would recommend day trips to Ciutedella market and cala n bocsh, where there are also nice eateries and beach.
We been here 3 times love this hotel its clean food lovely drink fine the staff are brilliant friendly the entertainment is great it very peaceful there nothing to not like
We had a fantastic 5 nights here with great weather. The hotel was immaculate and the food was good.
The hotel staff from reception to the waiting staff to the cleaners were so kind.
Also a big thank you to Inma at reception
Mayte and Judith who worked so hard entertaining us and Juliam who worked behind the food counters. Cala Blanca is a beautiful resort quiet and some lovely restaurants overlooking the beach.
I would recommend.
Clean comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings, very friendly and attentive staff and fresh tasty food and drink at all times.
Just returned from a 4 night all inclusive break. Cannot fault the hotel & the staff were all amazing, nothing was too much for them, from the chefs, bar staff, reception & cleaners. As per previous review, yes there could've been more cold meat selection for salads, but that's just personal preference. All areas were kept really clean. Cannot wait to return.
I really do wonder whether some people go on holiday not to enjoy themselves but to find fault with where they are staying. This hotel is simply amazing in every respect ! The accommodation, staff, food and amenities cannot be faulted. Can’t wait to return again soon.
Really pleasant, very clean, lovely location, and good value for money!
We paid extra for a pool view and were on the third gloor, this also gave us a sea view and a view over to Majorca.
Definitely no complaints but one tiny grumble if anything is there wasnt a lot of food choice especially cold cuts for salad at lunch etc, but the food that was served was tasty and decent quality.
Fantastic beach bar Hola Ola 5 mins away for a change away from the hotel. Amazing sunsets.
Really liked Cala Blanca and Ciutadella a must visit.
Excellent

Just got back after a two week stay and had an enjoyable stay, but there are a few things that could be improved upon.
Firstly, the positives:
The entertainment was excellent and is easily the best of any hotel that we have stayed in.
The staff were all cheerful and tremendously hard working.
The food choice is good and we could always find something that met our fussy eating requirements.
The location of the hotel is close to the beach, shops and alternative restaurants if required.
The not so good:
The charge for the use of the safe we felt was excessive at 76 euro for two weeks. This was far and above what we have paid in other hotels.
The room was equipped with tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge, which was a bonus, but some of the plug sockets didn't work, there were light switches that just weren't connected to anything and others have mentioned, there was no mirror on the dressing table, which would be an easy fix.
The steps leading down from the decking area to the pool perimeter are a death trap at night. The decking lights blind you as you look down at the steps and you can not see the edge of the steps. On one night 3 people stumbled down them me being one of them.😡
There were plenty of sunbeds, but they were a little uncomfortable with no padding.
Some of the guests were a bit rowdy playing their music at full blast on speakers it would have been good if a staff member could have asked them to be more considerate.
Finally a suggestion. The bar staff have to spend a lot of time collecting the plastic tumblers from around the pool area because guests are too lazy to return them or even put them in the metal tubs provided. Why not take a deposit for the cups when the guests order their first drink and if they return a cup when they have finished they get that returned. If they don't return a cup, they have to pay another deposit. This way it would encourage guests to always return the cups. Any deposits not claimed when you switch over to glasses in the evening could be shared amongst the staff as tips.
Just back from Hotel Cala Blanca, our home from home.
Amazing hotel and staff. Always friendly and helpful.
Service excellent as usual when booking in.
Hotel very clean, gardens are lovely.
Short walk to beach, nice stroll down the road to watch the sunset.
Patio area is great for making friends.
Restaurant and Bar staff are fabulous and work really hard.
A great choice of food and I'm very fussy.
Entertainment staff are brilliant.
Already booked to return next June. People ask why do we keeping coming back, well it's all of the above and the fact that they make you feel so welcomed. It's our little bit of Paradise.
A warning to begin as it may be important to some. There is a walk of more than 200m to get to and from reception for arrival and pick up from the coach transfer. Not good if you have any health/mobility issues or even young children, worse if it is raining as you would get soaked.
I was feeling guilty about writing this review as we had booked on the basis of what we had read in the reviews, however it seems we are not alone in our judgement given some of the most recent.
The room was ok until we opened the curtains and saw a flat roof extending along the length of the first floor, it meant overlooked by all other balconies, no privacy. As mentioned elsewhere the lighting is poor and confusing as to its function.
The restaurant is cramped and flies were a problem most days, the food is mediocre at best, using poor quality ingredients. Their Mexican theme had "Cajun" in front of most of the dishes which gives you a sense of their themed menus.
I think I have worked out the source of the glowing reviews i.e Drunken, loud mouthed tattooed Brits, the men were just as bad tbh. It seems their benchmark for food and accommodation has been set by a stay in a Travellodge and a burger joint.
Positive
Good location if you like a quieter area.
5 minute walk to beach and less to local well stocked shop.
Lovely welcoming reception area.
Room comfortable.
Shower hot.
Lift working and clean.
Pool clean.
Dining tables and bar area clean.
Plenty of Sunbeds, no need to reserve but some did- as usual!
Lots of space on the grassed areas.
Helpful reception team.
Not so positive
Crowded food serving area, not enough space to move without bumping into people sometimes.
Food often warm at best, never hot.
Pasta cooked in big batch then when all gone, needed to wait for next big batch (other establishments cook little and often so pasta does not turn to stodge).
Limited food availability particularly at breakfast (no pancakes 😢)
Poor lighting in room.
Some restaurant staff were rude.
Stairs are uneven with gaps (hard to explain), painted black so little definition between steps- take care!
We came to Globales Cala Blanca as two couples from 6th to 20th Sept.
The hotel was spotless with a very quick check in.
We were allocated rooms next to each other, 215 and 216.
Rooms
They were a decent size and had a nice balcony with table and chairs.
We had a TV with English channels, Tea/Coffee facilities, A fridge, a wardrobe with safe and bathroom with a hairdryer.
The Air con was quite good and not too noisy.
Plenty of plug sockets but not enough lights despite having a bunch of switches that didn't do anything.
The beds were really comfortable and the maids came in every day.
Bar and Pool area
The pool area was great and never had a problem getting a sun bed.
The water temp was perfect and the whole area was very well maintained and cleaned daily.
There is only one bar but the staff who run it were fantastic and in the entire 14 days I don't think I needed to wait more than 1 or 2 minutes to be served.(2 drinks max at a time)
Plastic cups during the day and Glasses in the evening.
There was Cava at the end of the bar to help yourself to all day long.
The Restaurant.
First thing that you notice is how clean it is and it doesn't have that canteen smell.
(If you know, you know)
At lunch and dinner you are asked your room number and dependant on how busy, you would go and find a table.
Don't think we ever had any issues.
The dining room is quite small but fantastically managed.
Not sure why all the negative reviews on the food.
We have been to many AI hotels and the food here is great.
Completely different every day for the entire 2 weeks including themed events, Chinese, Italian, Mexican etc.
A wide variety of salads and cheese and all the usual staples, chips, rice and veg.
Differant Freshly cooked meat and fish daily as well as pastas and paellas.
Could not fault it.
We only ate out 4 times in 14 days as we were out and about.
Drinks
Beer is San Miguel and very good.
Didn't try white wine but the red was ok for lunch and evening meal.
Cava as a said, on the bar to help yourself and also in the restaurant at all meal times including breakfast.
The usual local brand Vodka, Gin, Whisky etc.
Entertainment.
Daytime activities including shooting, darts, shuffleboard, water polo and loads more were taken care of by Mayte (Maria Teressa) and Judith.
These ladies are superstars and great fun.
They get to know you and call you by name whenever they speak to you.
They explain all aspects of the games in detail so that everyone understands.
Bingo is a must which is also great fun (Click)
We met lots of people playing the games and these two knew all of us.
Probably the best Animation team we have come across and are not pushy to get you involved.
The Area
This is a quiet area with a bus stop outside, 1 min to the shop and a couple of restaurants.
5 mins walk to the beautiful Cala Blanca beach where you will find more restaurants then 10 mins walk into Cala Blanca where you will find a pharmacy, shops bars and restaurants.
Cala Santandria beach and Sa Calleta beaches are a little further probably 25 min walk.
You must visit Ciutadella for its quint streets, chill vibe and lovely harbour.
€1.70 each way on the bus or just over €10 for a taxi.
All in all, This was a fantastic relaxing holiday and cannot fault anything about the hotel.
Every member of staff that we encountered were so friendly and genuinely seemed happy from reception, bar staff, Animation and housemaids.
I would definitely return.
This was an all inclusive holiday booked through TUI. On arrival at hotel all seemed good. Staff were friendly, welcoming and booked room with pool view was ready for us. The room was fairly basic but clean and had all facilities required. The room was cleaned every day to a good standard with linen changed as well. Air conditioning was noisy but worked. Beds and pillows a little solid but this is always a personal like or dislike. Lighting could have been better. No mirror other than in bathroom difficult for ladies wishing to do make up sitting down. The Dining room was quite small and with hotel full meant queuing on ocassions. Food choice was varied but buffet style and often proteins were overcooked. Dining room staff were always pleasant. Drinks were free but spirits and wines of a cheaper brand. Only red wine on offer was chilled and not nice. The bar and function room was a nice area, air conditioned and also the night time entertainment space. The Animation team oversaw both day time and evening entertainment. Evening acts were varied , some being better than others. The Animation team were good fun and did a good job. The entertainment acts did not start until 10pm which seemed for some guests to be a little late? The pool area was popular but led to the increasingly earlier rush to get towels on loungers and to bag a umbrella. With bar open (all inclusive) noise levels increased as day wore on! Some guests obviously determined to get their money's worth. Whilst enjoying this holiday overall, having lived in and holidayed in Spain and it's many Islands extensively for 40 years I felt that this hotel was not comparable with other 4 star hotels visited. I would say however that all the staff with whom I had dealings were friendly, helpful and professional.
Good location, quiet and clean hotel. Staff were wonderful , polite and friendly. Limited variety of food and only x1 restaurant. Air conditioning barely worked and bathroom tiny. This hotel is at best 3 star .
We have just arrived home today after a week at the hotel. Am interested to see if anyone else has come down with a dodgy stomach? We only ate there and have been ill all night that’s both myself and my husband.
The canteen and it is a canteen is over packed with tables and chairs. The food is not the best and a lot of the time COLD.
The staff were lovely and we stayed on the grass away from the hectic pool.
We wouldn’t go back as stated by someone previously it’s not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination.
I
Disappointed with the food and dinning room did not feel this was four star. Rooms basic and no mirror to sit and do make up and hair unless I wanted to stand in bathroom.
Very enjoyable stay , all the staff were great ,
The food was good quality and always varied . Excellent salad options and always a choice of meat and vegetarian dishes .
The hotel was spotless and the room was cleaned daily .
The service in the bar was excellent . The entertainment team were excellent , working hard throughout the day and evening . Night time entertainment was very good , the magician was very funny . Never a problem getting a sunbed and overall a lovely week long break
