Had a fabulous stay at the Paradore and can't wait to return again hopefully in September.
Pros:

The hotel had an exceptional view all around, great location. Everything about the Paradore was excellent, all staff, domestic staff, bar/restaurant staff and reception staff were great and could not do more for you. Our room was cleaned every day to a high standard, and the whole standard of the hotel was excellent.

O hotel em si é muito bonito.

Cons:

Não foram indicados os horários do restaurante no check in, fomos dentro do horário indicado na porta e não conseguimos jantar porque a cozinha iria fechar "em breve". Qualquer outro hotel teria dado mesa aos hóspedes, pois ainda faltavam 20 minutos para o fecho da cozinha e 50 minutos para o fecho do restaurante. Deveria ser revisto o horário do restaurante anunciado à porta. Pouco profissionalismo no atendimento na cafetaria. Receção com falhas relativamente ao check in, dando pouca informação e omitindo partes relevantes, tais como os horários de restaurante ou da piscina. Uma pena.

Geweldige plek met prachtige uitzichten!

Prachtige uitzichten vanuit de kamer, bar en restaurant over grens rivier en grens brug tussen Portugal en Spanje. Uitstekend restaurant en meer dan goed ontbijt.

Die Lage über Ayamonte und dem Flusstal ist einmalig. Das Zimmer war großzügig und komfortabel. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren herausragend mit sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichem Service.

Cons:

Einiges (Duschkopf) ist schon etwas abgenutzt. Im sehr großzügigen Badezimmer wäre eine zusätzliche Ablagemöglichkeit sehr hilfreich.

Las vistas de la habitación y el enclave del Parador. El trato del personal exquisito, como siempre.

Cons:

El precio del desayuno que ponéis en vuestra pagina (aparecían 11€ por persona y éramos 3)NO se corresponde con el precio real (nos cobraron 60€ por los 3 desayunos). Revisad este tipo de cosas porque, para quién no ha desayunado nunca en un Parador, puede resultarle un tanto desagradable.

La indiferencia en el trato al cliente en la recepción del hotel, da la impresión que somos solo un número que deja parte de su dinero!!!
Mi señora tiene muy reducida su movilidad, a nadie le importó y nos han asignado una de las últimas habitaciones del pasillo, a unos 150 m de la recepción!!!! Para no volver más!!!

En resumen la estancia fué buena a pesar de los los incidentes comentados.

Lo que no me gustó es que el Ascensor estaba averiado sin arreglarse en los 4 dias que estuve y no se cuantos dias más estaría en una época como Semana Santa y aunque me ofrecieron utilizar el de personal, este estaba bastante lejos de la ubicación. Y con respecto al cuarto de baño deberian ya de ir planificando el poner en algunas habitaciones placa de ducha en lugar de baño ya que si una persona tiene problema de pierna le seria imposible subirla para acceder al baño. La habitación asignada estaba tan lejos de las estancias principales que fue como ir cada día al Calvario.

Ascensor estropeado
Pros:

La ubicación limpieza y personal muy agradable además dar las gracias al personal pues me quedé sin batería en el coche y una persona de mantenimiento me trajo un arrancador y solucionado el problema

Cons:

El desayuno un poco flojo comparado con otros paradores no funciona el ascensor la habitación asignada está en otra planta y muy lejos nosotros al ser mayores y operados de cadera cargar con las maletas andar pasillos largos y bajar y subir escaleras no se nos hizo muy agradable
