Tired and faded, not living up to its rating

Great location, wonderful views from the bar terrace. Staff friendly and helpful

Cons:

My wife and I are in our late sixties. We have a lot of luggage as we are travelling for a month. This is a four star hotel, but we were not offered help with our luggage, which is poor.
The breakfast service is a mess. Again in a four star hotel, one should not have to form queues to prepare your own tea and coffee, go looking for milk, which constantly ran out, orange juice, which constantly ran out, and then clear your own dishes from the table in order to make space for the next course. There were not enough staff, who were failing to keep up. We paid ofr breakfast for three nights, but only took it onceShocking! A similar tale in the bar in the afternoon, where one person only serving, clearing and preparing meant that the wait could be interminable

Property lovely. Very spacious. Great views. Good parking. Unfortunately dinner isn’t available until 8.30pm, rather lat

Location was good. The property itself was lovely. The views were great. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean.

Cons:

WiFi was not working on our floor. The dining room and cafeteria don’t serve dinner until 8.30pm. Far too late for guests who need to make an early start the next day.

Pros:

Wonderfully spacious, comfortable, hotel. For a UK visitor its a great place for a stop off on a long motorway drive from Santander port. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent

perhaps a minor point - bed pillows could be more comfortable
