Please note that the rooftop outdoor swimming pool is not heated.

Please note that reservations for groups (6 rooms or more) will be charged 50% of the total reservation amount, on the day of booking. This amount is nonrefundable. Please contact the property directly through the details in your booking confirmation for more details.

Please note that specific parking spots cannot be reserved. Parking spots are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Price for using the garage: From November to April EUR 8, from May to October EUR 12.

In case off no show on the first night, the whole reservation will be canceled.

Guests requiring an invoice should include their invoicing details (name, address and VAT number) in the Special Requests box when booking.

Rate for recharging cars / other Electric vehicles is EUR 1 per Kw.

Please note that breakfast in the room has a surcharge of EUR 10 for 1 person or EUR 15 for 2 people.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in ocean-front, quiet and boutique stays.
Pros:

There was a new gal and Brazilian guy at the front desk who were so nice, personable and helpful - not like your stuffy, personality-less staff wer’e so used to seeing these days. We stayed here upon arriving in Portugal when our apartment was not yet ready. We will highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting who aren’t staying with us.

Pros:

Une très belle situation face au fort de Saint Jean Baptiste. Un personnel aimable et attentionné.

Cons:

L'hotel mériterait une modernisation en particulier les salles de bains.

Patiko švara, lokacija, istorija, personalas. Kambariai tvarkomi kas dieną.

Cons:

Pusryčiai. Labai ribotas pasirinkimas ir per 10 dienų nelabai kas keitėsi. Vegetarams ir veganams mažai pritaikytas maistas. Dar kambarį rinkčiausi su daugiau dienos šviesos. Mano buvo į miesto pusę, tai gana tamsu.

The receptionist made us feel like he was trying to scare us about parking the car outside. Having to pay 20€ per day. My friend and I come both come from countries that have an unsafe reputation so we know how to navigate such situations. But as I said, it seemed like he was trying to scare us with break-ins etc.

Pros:

El Hotel está muy bien ubicado y las instalaciones son correctas. La piscina también es un plus, estaba muy limpia y se estaba muy bien, con zona de sol y de sombra, tumbonas y ducha.

Cons:

El servicio de limpieza de habitaciones. Hasta las cuatro de la tarde no hacían la habitación. Dos días habíamos dejado la solicitud de que nos la hicieran y cuando volvimos de excursión no estaba hecha.

I wasn’t looking for sea view of course, but was disappointed at the limitations imposed by the balustrade on the 2nd floor overlooking rua Padre Cabral (I had to work out the position of my room as I couldn’t actually see much, but I know this area well. My son used to live up the hill in Trinitária with his Portuguese wife and children.)
The windows seemed to be blocked in such a way that they couldn’t be opened further, nor could they be shut to keep the room cool. However I appreciate there is heavy curtain for this purpose. I also appreciate having 2 windows for the light.
