Die Lage ist sehr schön.
Das Frühstück ist dem Hotel nicht würdig, Kaffeemaschinen die ewig brauchen und die Auswahl ist für ein Parador eher mager.
Beautiful location, good sized room.
It is a large hotel, not much of an ambiance about the place. The surrounding area of the hotel was very busy with tourists.
The amazing location
-
Parador brand is owned by the Spanish govt., A way to preserve the beautiful castle/ fortress of Spain and in this case, castle of Conde de Gondomar. From the outside , it is a proper castle/ fortress right next to the seaside resort town of Baiona, Spain. Inside is a beautiful luxury hotel . Spacious rooms, modern amenities. Many hiking trails along the walls and around the castle.
Lindo lugar, bem mantido.
O bar deixa a desejar pelo horario de atendimento.
Was beautiful area and clean.
The staff and food not great.
What an amazing building integrated into the hillside. Awe inspiring. Love the green credentials. Loved the art installations.
The ultra modern bathroom design was sometimes a challenge to place items for use. It’s a bit nit picky, but could be better.
Location and the delicious food
It’s a Parador, it needs no introduction. Just fantastic. We originally booked for two nights, but we loved it so much (and our feet were telling us they weren’t ready to get back on the Camino yet) that we stayed an extra night. Not a cheap place but still well worth the money. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Come for breakfast even if you aren’t staying here (however call to reserve before hand).
Better to have two chairs vs the fold out sofa which was not comfortable to sit on
Long walk to the town
Location a bit off beaten path for Camino folks with tired legs going into town and back. Quite beautiful and unique!
Stunning location and beautiful building.
Male Receptionist was not particularly polite, his English was very poor (you expect better of a 4 star hotel) and he didn’t offer to help us with our luggage.
By contrast the female staff at breakfast couldn’t have been more helpful and genuine.
Everthing. Location, location.
