Arcea Hotel Mirador de Cabrales

Stayed here 2 nights as we explored the Picos. Easy walk to the funicular to Bulnes. Room was ok, our only issue was that the shower head holder was broken and not tub stopper - first world problems though really. Everything was clean, food was filling and the beer was cold.

Absolutely awful hotel arrived yesterday told there was a bus every hour to town nothing arrived. Also told taxi was easy to get home..no taxi available 12k walk home in the rain. Rooms very basic load people shouting in the corridor at 06:00 in the morning and slamming bedroom doors. Breakfast was terrible just stale bread and the waiter was very rude. Went somewhere else after one night never go back here again staff were terrible, shouldn’t be in hospitality industry

Was booked in for 2 nights, left after the 1st night. Incredibly basic, like a hostel. No plug in the basin or bath. No kettle facilities. Full of hickers shouting along the corridors at 6am to each other. All the doors slam.
The worse thing about the hotel is the utter rudeness of the staff, especially in the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast consisted of purely stale bread, cake and croissants.

Hôtel à proximité du funiculaire de Bulnes. Petit parking privé. Personnel efficace et serviable (changement de chambre suite à une fuite du tuyau de douche non réparable dans la journée). Isolation phonique médiocre des chambres. Possibilité de dîner sur place ( salle bruyante en cas de groupe). Wi-Fi fonctionnel (utile car absence de réseau téléphonique).

Nice breakfast. We had several great choices for dinner. Loved the access to hiking trails and funicular and great views room was basic but clean and spacious.

We had a terrible stay and checked out one nicht early because we couldn’t stand staying one more night. The rooms were dirty, after the first „room cleaning“ we had dog paw prints all over the bed…the bathrooms resembled a gas station bathroom (also dirty) and the food was horrible.
The service however was ok and some people even spoke English.

Overall good

Very convenient for la Ruta del Cares walk. No frills but comfortable, with everything we needed. Good breakfast.

Not fancy but overall great. The guy at the breakfast is awesome. Lack of hooks for towels in the bathroom

The worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. While we didn’t expect luxury accommodations, we did expect clean rooms without broken beds. The service was extremely unfriendly and the food in the restaurant was pretty terrible. Beware, the restaurant closes at 9:30 and there’s nothing else for miles. We had 2 rooms. One had a broken bed with 1 pillow for 2 people and dead bugs in the bathroom. Then after arguing with the manager, she finally refunded us for our inconvenience for that room. That is the best thing we can say about the stay here which is unfortunate.

Great staff (especially Emilio at front desk).
Bathrooms a bit dated, but room was nice.
Good breakfast, note that it is downstairs out of high season

Great place to spend the night, hike, visit bulnes, restaurant is really good and fhe location is excellent, get there early for parking otherwise park in the road, full service bar next door too.

What an amazing hotel,, so friendly so clean so quiet so peaceful,, let everything behind and live your life,, the hotel in an amazing place, one restaurant until 10 , tasty food, near the walking path to amazing places 3 minutes walk to the funicular to take you to a beautiful village with a breathtaking view of the mountains,, loved everything about this hotel

Lovely views and walks in the surrounding area food was ok nothing special the rooms are shocking mould and damp everywhere very dated loud noise from the cleaner's in the morning the only reason i would stay here is because of its lovely location

Perfect place to stay for easy access to hike the Ruta de Cares!
