I would have liked to have been informed about the potential issues related to the renovation of the entrance and parking area, especially in rainy days.
The parking area
Sitio
Cleanliness and how much the building was so lovingly restored.
Great staff, amazing historical building, beautiful swimming pool although it was obviously closed ( March) but it looked great. Superb views on the countryside, it was an amazing location. Easily Walkable to the town and historic sites
The bar food was good but the restaurant dinner was average, and disappointing as we had heard good reviews from other sources. The toilets on the ground floor required a code to open the door and I had to keep asking reception what the number was. That was annoying for obvious reasons , why couldn’t they find a way to use our room cards?
Absolutely stunning hotel with a view that cannot be matched. We had a balcony room and I could have looked out over the plain for hours! The whole hotel was beautiful (although the heating was turned up everywhere, which was a little stifling) and spent a good deal of our time there just chilling in the lounges, reading books and enjoying the occasional beer or wine.
The reception staff were excellent, and very helpful, but some of the bar and restaurant staff seemed either lacking in experience or a bit grumpy (or both). It wasn't a huge problem, but maybe brought the experience down from 5 stars to maybe like a 4.8 - still a fantastic stay!
Beautiful views from our room . Friendly staff, very helpful. We had dinner at the parador restaurant both nights. There were many vegetarian options and the prices were reasonable. We didn’t eat breakfast but it was a short walk into town for a simple breakfast.
The renovation work on the parador is ongoing so access was dusty but it didn’t have any other negative effects.
Het prachtige uitzicht
Warm welcome at reception. Public.areas are delightful. Room was large, comfortable and spotless.
The evening meal was disappointing. Dishes cold and bland and waiting staff not very attentive.

The Parador de Carmona has tremendous views over the plains of Seville. Our room was super clean and the bed was so comfy.
The Courtyard was in complete disarray due to work being done on it and we drove around 15 minutes to find a parking spot. Had we known we would have chosen another hotel.
The staff was unfriendly and one felt like it was an imposition to even ask them a question.
We had lunch in the restaurant and the waiter could not have done any more to make us two women feel smaller with their very haughty demeanor. I have eaten plenty of less "haughty" meals for 1/2 the price and double the flavors! SKIP THIS RESTAURANT!
El castillo
Las obras
It’s an amazing castle, on a ridge, high above the surrounding countryside. While we were there, extensive works were being done to the grounds and the external walls, but that aside, it still looked amazing as we arrived.
Nothing, really (apart from visiting during the building works - can’t be helped).
