Wonderful stay and food in the Teruel parador that offers lots of character!
Pros:

Nice historical building in pleasant park, easy access and parking. Friendly and professional check-in and out, with good recommendations from the concierge. Spacious room with comfortable bed and good bathroom, a view to top it all off. Breakfast and dinner were pleasant with wonderful food, whine & service in the Paradir restaurant that has lots of character. Not sure about some negative comments here, for us the food was great and the service fast, friendly and professional despite an almost full house.

Una estancia para disfrutar el doble de Teruel
Pros:

Buenas instalaciones, habitación muy cómoda; tranquilo y silencioso, en un entorno muy agradable. Personal muy amable y servicial. Buenos desayunos, con muchos productos de la zona.

Parador in einem früheren Palast in der Nähe von Teruels historischem Zentrum
Pros:

Das Frühstück hatte eine reichhaltige Auswahl, es gab sogar Haferflocken - in Spanien eher selten. Das modernisierte Zimmer mit Balkon (leider ohne Sitzgelegenheiten) im ersten Stock war hell und geräumig - ausgestattet mit Safe und Mini- Bar. Der bei der Buchung geäußerte Wunsch, ein Zimmer mit zwei Betten und einem Balkon zu bekommen, wurde erfüllt. Vielen Dank an das Personal der Rezeption!
Die Bar mit überdachter Veranda ist hell. Man kann bis 15.30 Uhr Mittagessen bestellen, was wir zwei Mal gemacht haben, Abendessen gibt es erst ab 20.30 Uhr.
Teruel mit der Mudejar-Architektur (Weltkulturerbe) lohnt in jedem Fall einen Besuch. Das Zentrum ist ca. 5 km entfernt. Man kann zu Fuß gehen. Auch Albarracin (ca. 25 km) ist empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Der Parador befindet sich in einem früheren Palast. Die Ausstattung war nicht besonders schön, die Atmosphäre im Salon eher düster.
Wir waren an einem langen Wochenende dort, wo am Freitag in Spanien ein Feiertag war. Das Hotel war komplett ausgebucht und viele Familien mit Kindern dort, die sich entsprechend bemerkbar gemacht haben. In der Bar war es an zwei Tagen wegen großer Gruppen abends ziemlich laut Das Hotel ist relativ hellhörig, Lärm aus anderen Zimmern wird übertragen. Ruhe gab es erst nach 24 Uhr. Wer Ruhe sucht, die es sonst in Paradores gibt, sollte nicht am Wochenende kommen.
