Excellent, well worth the money and its location is hard to beat.
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location and the ample free parking makes it a really good choice for anyone exploring this area of Scotland. The hotel is clean, well set out and the rooms are comfortable. Many have views of the Caledonian Canal and Ben Nevis as does the hotel restaurant. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help and there just good to chat to if like me, you travel a lot on your own.
Food wise, the breakfast is well worth paying for and I'd definitely suggest an evening meal, the burger in a bun is simply the best I've had in a hotel but the fish and chips is well worth it also, very fresh.
All in all, I've stayed here many times and it never disappoints. I always had another 'go to hotel' when in this area but The Moorings now takes this crown, I simply wouldn't look anywhere else.

Cons:

Its not a case of what I don't like, just what could be improved to an already good hotel. The bottom car park is ample in size but could may be do with some lighting - most of this comes from the street above and in the winter months can appear dark. Also when vans park in the upper car park they tend to block a number of spaces. It would be good to ask any larger size vehicle to park in the lower car park leaving the fewer spaces near the door for people who might struggle with the slope from the lower car park. Nothing else to comment on.

Pros:

Absolute gem of a hotel, with wonderful staff. We had a beautiful room with mountain views, the food in the brasserie was outstanding and you won't find a better breakfast in Fort William. We look forward to returning.

Surprisingly good value and a good stay for two people and a dog. We were happy overall.
Pros:

Very good value for money for the area - lovely surrounding, good staff, lovely restaurant, large bar, good sizes room. We had breakfast and dinner on both nights and they were very good.

Cons:

Really just niggles that took the shine off the overall experience. There was no plug for the bathroom sink, broken shaving light made shaving a dull affair. The toilet seat only had one screw so it was wobbly, No full length mirror in room.
