A comfortable stay on a Highland Trip
Pros:

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming which always makes a good impression.Our room was clean and comfortable and had all the facilities expected.The hotel was easy to find and centrally located( albeit Castletown is a small place) The bar is small but adequate. Dinner was excellent …. the haggis crepe starter a feast in its own right. Breakfast was decent.

Cons:

I could not get the electric car charger to work due to a poor phone signal …… and my own incompetence!

Great pitstop for a 1 night stay over

Pros:

The dinners were really amazing. We intended to eat in various places, but having eaten in the hotel the first night, there was no way we were going to eat anywhere else.

Wonderful night’s stay at Castletown Hotel
Pros:

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. The location is within a 15 minutes drive to the ferry.
We took a walk in the evening that was very quiet and peaceful.

Pros:

The staff were so friendly and helpful, a lovely place to visit, the food was amazing and very affordable

Cons:

There was cobwebs above the bathroom door and on the ceiling light above the bed, the walls were very thin as we could hear the man in the next room snoring and his mobile phone was vibrating when his alarm went off

Gutes Hotel für Zwischenstop
Pros:

Das Hotel bietet gutes und preiswertes Abendessen an. Gleich neben dem Hotel ist der Supermarkt Spar für diverse Einkäufe. 15 Minuten zur Pentlandfähre.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist typisch schottisch, für unseren Geschmack nicht so toll. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und mit 2 Koffern wird es sehr knapp

Excellent hotel with marvellous staff.
Pros:

Excellent in every respect. Staff were attentive but not intrusive, food was absolutely superb and room was clean and well presented.

Pros:

The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, polite, happy to help,very friendly ,rooms clean and replenished both days,excellent service 😀

Cons:

The breakfast was really good Sunday morning but very poor on Monday morning sausage and bacon very under cooked,sausages only brown down 1 side,bacon practically raw,also WIFI none existent,
