Best value hotel in Caithness. Restaurant serves superb steaks

Pros:

Il mio giudizio va al servizio dell hotel, molto professionale. Hanno avuto un problema tecnico per alcune camere e ci hanno avvisato il mattino che ci sistemavano in un altro hotel (Pentland a Thurso). Quindi siamo poi andati arrivando direttamente li. Qui ci siamo trovati bene, anche se la colazione non con troppa scelta. In ogni caso giudizio positivo per lo staff del Casteltown hotel per aver trovato subito una soluzione.

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar
Pros:

Het ontbijt was prima en het eten in het restaurant ook.

Cons:

We vonden het erg koud in de kamer en de gang ernaar toe. Het personeel was niet erg vriendelijk, we hadden ruim op tijd een tafel in het restaurant gereserveerd maar kregen een tafel in het erg ongezellige ontbijtrestaurant naast een lege buffettafel en naast een grote groep luidruchtige andere gasten. Ook bij het ontbijt mag je niet zelf je plek kiezen, als het ontbijt is afgelopen gaat ook op de seconde het licht boven het buffet uit. Personeel is verder ook vooral erg onzichtbaar, bij het uitchecken ook niemand meer gezien. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Pros:

Staff were lovely. Food was lovely. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Room 7 backed onto kitchen. Kitchen noises went on till late and started early disturbing our sleep.

Colazione ottima e abbondante, purtroppo siamo arrivati tardi la sera e non abbiamo potuto utilizzare il ristorante, camera piccola ma con un bel bagno, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, la struttura è un po' datata ma confortevole e pulita,
